Mars P.O.V
" cus your amazing just the way you are" I sing as I enter my room. I throw my keys on the coffee table and drop all my school stuff as well.
I lay on my bed and my thoughts wondered to Jamie, I havent seen her in a week! its killing me.. I wonder whats shes doing. the more I thought I thought about Jamie the more I could smell Jamie which is stupid cus shes not here. Its like her scent is in the house.
Funny thing, my wolf mises her like crazy so he starts to illusinate her scent. Im going mad.
Then I hear someone coming, I quickly stand up and prepare to open the door and kill the crook. The doornob starts to open slowly and before I can attack, I see Jamie. Once she sees me she hugs me and begins to cry. But why?
"hey whats wrong?" I ask her in a soothing voice. She wipes her tears away " I didnt shift Mars. I waited and waited but nothing. S-something is wrong with me" she says and begins to cry again.
I hold on to her tighter and hug her " theres nothing wrong with you, maybe your just a late shifter and thats normal for some" I tell her.
I walk us to my bed and lay down, she just lays next to me and continues to cry. " look I'll help you, its not like your not gonna shift. Your just a late one" i say trying to cheer her up.
" really? but how?" she asks.
" well when you shift you grow... but thats for a guy as for a girl stuff are different just think of it as your second period" this was as awk to say to her but its the truth.
she giggles " and you wont be disgusted by that?"
" to be honest not really, you forget my best friend is a girl.Ive had to do SO many sacrafices for her" I tell her. Gale once started her period so she made me leave class and made me get her some tampons and jeans cus she was wearing white jeans. Or the day it began to rain ,she also started her period so I gave her my jacket and sweater because not only did she need to cover herself up but she didnt bring a jacket that day. Doing this for Jamie was not problem.
We talk about it some more and she eventually falls asleep.
Klyde POV
"legs apart! head up! arms up front , to where your nose ends" Ive had peete train me for the last couples hours. Its hard but Ive got to train for the fight thats coming in a couple weeks.
I hit the punching bag but peete tells me to stop " I dont know what motivated you to hit hard last time but you need another motivation somethin that aint anger boy" he told chewing on that stick of his again.
" I know" I simply state. its true anger motivates me but i cant rely on being angry all the time. I decided to make Peete the trainer at thepack house. Hes a good trainer and knows what hes doing, im sure the guys could learn a thing or to from him.
I walk into the showers and take the longest shower in history
So far Val and me have gotten closer she talks to me more and tells me more stuff about her. Her favorite color is Violet, fav food is Indian, her fav sport is swimming, her fav animal is a horse, her fav sport is baseball, and she loves to sleep. So far I think Im doing good, she calls me more and we hang out alot at her house, either were watching film, cooking, baking , or jumpin on the trampoline we made. But I feel like shes not telling me something, Ive never seen her parents or siblings, I know nothing of her personal life.
She alot more happier than I remember, when I see her in the halls her eyes are red, but when Im with her in class there not red.
Tomorrow were gonna study at her place for a test we have on monday, it makes me happy when I see her smile. but idk if its me but sometimes I feel like the smile is just a show. I feel like she isnt happy and I want to know why.
