I've reincarnated into the evil character, but somehow I've healed them?

Chapter 2

==================================

Brittania-sama's classes were of the usual things. Arithmetic, Chemistry, Literacy, Arts, Music, and Magic Education. *Obviously* these were fundamental in life. *Especially*Arithmetic. ...I hope you hear my sarcasm.

Brittania-sama was pretty much dead at the end of the day. Her only strong subject was Literacy, with her vast knowledge from reading so many books. Other things, she couldn't wrap her head around. Her worst subject though, was Magic Education.

I watched as she tripped up an incantation and was scored the lowest in terms of magical potential. By the way, her affinity is wind, and Richard-sama's is water. The heroine's is the extremely rare light, and mine the extremely rare darkness. There exists of course the other elements, fire and earth. The four elements are the basic magic types, which can become any type of form depending on the person.

Water can be a healing liquid, or form a weapon. Wind can become barrier, or take shape as an arrow. It all depends on the person as to how basic types are used. This type of rule also applies to special types.

The special types are light and darkness. Unlike the basic types, they specialize in only one type of form, the basics can't become. Light magic can amplify someone else's power, while darkness takes others for more strength.

This is a good setup for confronting the evil villain. The heroine and her loved one power up to defeat the power hungry villain. Though that will never happen.

"Brittania-sama, you did well surviving. Please to continue surviving for another forty-two weeks and six days." She rested heavily on the bench. "I....will...beat...you...up....!!!"

Magic Education took place outside, on a track and field. Magical and physical abilities were tested together, so its a mix of Phys. Edu. Luckily it was her final period, so she could rest for as long as she liked.

I was surprised that personal attendants were allowed in classes with their masters. A master could order a servant to cheat for them, but we were all protected under an educational law. Plus, any servant would want their master to learn, or suffer.

As I poured a fresh glass of orange juice, Brittania-sama muttered all her stressful thoughts. "Two more years of this? Hahahaha.... Impossible. Unbelievable. **Hell**." Sometimes Brittania-sama would go into a dark corner of her brain and awaken her "emo" side.

"B-Brittania-sama, look over there! It's his Highness!! And, oh, I-I think they're wearing bloomers!!!"

Instantly she was invigorated. Her eyes turning into stars, she whipped her head around to see them. Hungrily she roared, "WHERE?!?!" When she saw that it was a lie, she immediately deflated.

Well, if people wore bloomers, wouldn't it show too much skin? But I guess hot pants are close too. And just to mention, they *are* wearing hot pants. ...This school is weird in that aspect.

"Oh? If it isn't Brittania-chan and Bernald-san! Just finishing up Magic Education?"

Richard-sama called out to us, and started to make his way over with a friend. Immediately Brittania-sama re-flated, and fixed her hair. As they got closer, you could see their muscles, and a flash of chiseled abs. I felt a twinge of jealousy, before I remembered my own body was like that as well.

"It's nice to see you again, Richard-sama! And yes, I'm finally finished for the day."

He gave a quick smile. "Let me introduce my good friend here to you. This is Diago Citrine." He was brown-skinned, with a good smile on his face. His hair was amber-colored, and his eyes a pale yellow. Already I knew he was a capturable character.

"Hi, it's nice to finally meet you. Richard-chan *always* talks about you. And he's right, you *are* pretty cute!" Diago-sama gave a flashing smile. Brittania-sama turned red. This person was pretty bold.

"Hey, do you even know what you're saying?"

"Hm? Was there something wrong with what I said?" Or this person was just dull. "You must be Bernald-san. It's nice to meet you too."

"O-Oh yes, it is an honor, Citrine-sama."

"Just Diago is fine. Geh!! The teacher is looking this way! C'mon, Richard-chan, and good-bye Brittania-chan, Bernald-san!" In an abrupt manner, he dashed off. Richard-sama also said his farewells, and followed suit.

"Haaahh...hot pants are still good." I could not predict that those would be her first words. I can't really understand. Bloomers and hot pants are good...?

*-After school - Extracurricular activities begin-*

*-In the Student Council Room-*

Richard Larimar was seated at his desk, his chair turned toward the window. In his hand was a glass of coconut juice. At a nearby desk, was Diago Citrine, with his legs propped up.

"Another year has started. And finally our last year here. We must make the most of it, and perform to the best of our abilities." Richard took a sip and placed his glass down. He had a serious face, one that someone would associate with a proper student council president.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. *Sigh.* There has been sightings of a mysterious fog appearing over the whole school ground. This first appeared at the end of our first year. Already, students are reporting memory loss after entering the fog. They were fatigued when they reappeared, but there were no other side effects."

"....I want to make sure that those who were taken in by the fog are closely monitored. An announcement must be scheduled as soon as possible about this. Curfews are to be enforced harshly, and a letter needs to be written to the Magic Court for help. Please relay this to the other members."

Richard listed off several more orders for Diago, who memorized every single word. Before Diago could leave the room, Richard asked him a question.

"How were they? Brittania-chan and Bernald-san." He didn't turn to face Diago. Diago was unsure why he introduced them to him in the first place. But he guessed they would be important.

"Cute, and stiff. But I'd give them a passing grade. But what's up? You seem a bit stiff yourself. Something going on?"

Usually they would act like best buds, even without others around. After not meeting for months, it's to be expected they would chat up a storm. But Richard acted the way he would with other nobles. Fake, distant, and cold.

"No. Just deep in thought. But I could ask the same thing. Something bothering you?" Diago pursed his lips at this. He also wasn't acting like his usual self. There was no happy-go-lucky mood in his mind. A deep bitterness gnawed at his brain.

".....If your dream was impossible, would you still keep chasing after it?"

Richard knew what he was talking about. But he couldn't say it outright with the face Diago had. In the reflection, he saw a hurt, lost and torn friend.

In the end, he couldn't say anything in response. The corner of Diago's mouth lifted only a little bit. He knew he had asked something too personal.

"Sorry. ....Then, I'll see you tomorrow."

The door shut behind him.
