Hailey's p.o.v

"Pineapple." I nodded smiling over at Ethan.

"Right, pineapple." The cashier looked over at Ethan and I weirdly. Is it such a crime to want pineapple on my pizza? What did I ever do to her? Does she want me to judge her for her thin eyebrows that look like they're struggling to grow any more hair?!

"That'll be $12.48." The cashier gave us a eery smile, waiting for one of us to give her money. I quickly pulled out my card handing it over to cashier, but that was until Ethan swatted my hand away making sure to give his own credit card to the cashier.

"Ethan, seriously? I'm the one that came to visit, I should at least pay for the two us." I looked up at him, a small pout plastered onto my face.

"Too late." He shrugged as the cashier gave him back his card, which Ethan quickly shoved into his wallet which then was put neatly into his pocket.

I let out a small groan as we sat over at a small booth in the corner of the restaurant. I took a seat behind the window, and he sat in front of me. I pulled out my phone taking a off guard photo of Ethan as he made an airplane out of a paper napkin. I let out a small giggle when he tried flying it over to my face.

A slight ding interrupted me from goofing around with Ethan. I let out a quick sigh looking over at the kitchen where they made the pizza. I glance down over at my phone to see a text message from Grayson.

From GrAYson:
Hey, you with Ethan yet?

I looked up at Ethan as he looked at me and my phone curiously. I didn't want to seem rude, so I told him who it was. "Grayson's texting me, probably wondering if I actually pulled off this undercover scheme of mine." I let out a small laugh, and Ethan's face brightened up immediately.

From HAYley:
yeah actually, we're at some pizza place Ethan told me about. btw thanks for helping me out with this whole plan to surprise Ethan. it means a lot Gray :)

From GrAYson:
Oh I know what place you're talking about. And no problem Hailey, Ethan never stops talking about you, and I know how much you love attention ;)

From HAYley:
bye fatso the pizzas here, and i have bigger problems to deal with than you :)

From GrAYson:
Rude.

The waiter set the pizza down in the middle of mine and Ethan's table, leaving shortly after. Ethan and I looked at each other before quickly taking a slice of the pizza, and biting into it. Pizza was my favorite food, and it was one of Ethan's too. I knew we could never disagree on pizza.

As I chewed on my pizza I noticed Ethan holding something in his hand. I held in my laughs as Ethan took a photo of me with my camera, and I just so happened to have my mouth completely full. My hand was holding up the bitten pizza slice and my other was "trying" to cover my mouth. Key word, tried.

Once I finished chewing my food, I slapped Ethan's hand playfully taking my camera back.

"Your turn doofus." I flipped it over, and he lifted his slice of pizza high in the air, and made his signature "hissing" face as he looked up at his pizza slice. I snapped the photo, and let out a small giggle.

"I think that was a spectacular photo." Ethan winked over at me, which caused me to blush a deep red, but I hid it with my hair hoping he wouldn't catch me.

"Did I make the Hailey Evans blush!? No way!" Ethan put a hand to his heart, letting out one hell of a dramatic gasp.

"Shut up, it's never happening again." I pointed my last slice of pizza at him, taking one more bite since I was completely full, and if I ate any more I'm pretty sure I would explode into pieces.

"You ready to go?" I asked standing up from my seat, brushing off the leftover pizza crumbs on my lap.

"Ready spaghetti." Ethan stood up as well, interlocking his fingers with mine as we walked out the doors.

I left feeling the blood rushing up to my cheeks, a cheesy smile spread upon my lips as I looked up at Ethan, and he looked down at me.
