"I was hoping you and I could do some sort of dine and dash." I winked over at Ethan which caused him to roll his eyes, and let out the cutest little laugh.

"You're crazy, you know that?" Ethan asked me with a small smile as he drove down the streets of LA. I looked down at my lap playing with the fabric of my jeans before looking back up at Ethan to already see him catching a small glance at me.

"I know I'm crazy, ask my mom. Shes the one who wanted to shove me into an asylum, and I told her it was only voices and knives." I opened my eyes wide as I looked mischievously at Ethan. That caused him to look down at me worry obviously hidden behind his hazel green eyes.

"I'm kidding Ethan." A laugh escaped my lips as I remembered his reaction from a few seconds ago. Ethan let out a small breath of relief as he kept his eyes on the road driving to who knows where.

"Yeah, psshht, I knew that." Ethan sarcastically said as he let out a small noise with his lips.

"So where we headed? It better not be a cemetery. Those places creep me out." I shrugged letting the imaginary chills run down my spine as I looked up at Ethan with horror.

"Why would it be a-. You know what? I don't even want to know." Ethan let out a small chuckle as he thought about it.

"I wanna take you somewhere cool. You'll see, we're already close by." Ethan took a left turn as he parked in some sort of lit up parking garage.

It was already night by then, and I was a bit concerned what we were doing here really late at night. I just went along with it.

"I'm really hoping you aren't some serial killer." I shrugged out loud as he walked with me on this pebble path that crunched as we laid our feet against the ground. His lips gently tug up at the sound of my voice, and he pulls me closer to him softly.

"I won't ever hurt you Hailey." His voice sounding almost like autumn leaves swiftly dragging along dusty rooftops. The hairs on the back of my neck lifted as his words slipped out gingerly. I gave him a small smile pulling his arm closer to me as the air rushed down my body while we walked.

We walked in complete silence, the only thing audible being the sound of our feet stepping along the pebbled path, and our hushed breathing. Once we got closer I was able to see a little area by a sparkling lake. There was a wooden park bench sitting alone on a little hill of grass. Little flowers surrounded the area making the outlook look even more lovely. The stars and moon gleamed through the dark sky making the view shine from a distance.

Ethan pulled me gently over to the bench where we sat down. I sat down, and he sat down next me. My stomach was tingling from nervousness. What was he gonna say? What was I gonna say?
