I had continued on this never ending schedule for a couple months, of someone picking me up every morning to go to our shift. I would often go to the recreational room afterwards, I would sometimes hangout with Chelea and Drew, but I would just glare at Keath and to what a surprise, he would give me a just as piercing glare as well. To a point to where I was just done. I came to the rebellion to rebel, I'm sick of waiting. So in this very nice May weather, I decide to march right up to the Elder's themselves and give them an ear full. I happen to spot Jenna eating her breakfast, I approach and take a breath.

"I'm sick of waiting, when are we going to make a change in society?"

"My dear, if you had just been a tiny bit more patient you would have been satisfied," I look at her confused," Today we were planning on having a meeting on what we were going to do. You have to remember to be patient, change comes within time."

"Oh, sorry, it's just I've been waiting so long-"

"I know, I promise you will get what you have been waiting for tonight at 6:00, I will have Keath go and usher you to the meeting room."

"Keath?" you can hear the whining in my voice, but Jenna looks at me as to warn me not to say another word," Okay....." I walk back to my cave fall onto my bed groaning," Why, why did it have to be Keath, of all the people."

Later that day, I head to the place where Drew and I had our picnic, but just as I enter the area I see Drew already sitting there. I stop for a second about to walk away when I hear a voice behind me.

"How did you know I was here?" this voice sounds nothing like Drew's, it's sad almost.

"I didn't know, I just came to sit and think, but I saw it was occupied so I was about to go back."

"You could join me if you wish?"

I ponder over the thought for a moment, but it seems my mind has already made the decision for me and I'm walking over to Drew and sitting down.

"Why did you come here to think, something bothering you?" he asks

"Sort of, I'm just so bored with everything, I want to rebel, I want to change things, now."

"Well how do you think everyone else feels," he say quite sternly," People have been here for hundreds of years, just waiting. How do you have the right to be so selfish and just be bored when you have only been here for just under two months."

The words sting, to a point where my eyes are starting to get watery, Drew notices and the anger leaves his face quickly. I stand up and start to run. I hear Drew calling behind me, but I just block it all out and run, run as fast as I can.

It's 5:50, and I have decided to get changed into a white dress that flows down to bottom of my thighs. I take my brunette hair down and brush it out. When I'm finished Keath walks in, he seems to be just as displeased as I am. I roll my eyes and walk over to him. He practically grabs my arm and drags me down the hall. I grab his stiff shoulders and push him away from me.

"Stop, just stop! Yes! I made a mistake, I should have fought harder to save your mom and bring her with me, but I didn't, okay! I'm sorry, if I could go back and save your mom, I would, but I can't. So suck it up and think about the future."

He looks at me with hatred," Yes you did make a huge mistake! like I said I hate you for it-"

"I know you hate me, but that isn't going to change anything, but all I can do is promise you, I will make it up to you, I will."

"I'd like to see you try." He states in a bitter way and grabs me again dragging me towards our destination.

At the meeting tons of people are there. I have figured out the leader of the rebellion is Jenna.

"Now, quiet down everyone, we have business to discuss," Jenna says, everyone's voices slowly fades away," We have planned rebellion ever since we were sent to our home in which they call "The Vast" but it seems our "light" is now here and I believe she has ideas, so I shall now pass the fate of the meeting to her."

I look at her in surprise and stamper over the words I should speak," J...Jane brought me here, she may not be here today, but she saw the beauty of what the world could be like without the society's rule, and so did many people before her, but what made Jane truly amazing is that she turned her people's thoughts into actions. She brought hope. That is why I propose before we continue those actions that we bring back Jane first," of course the crowd starts screaming in protest, but it all just sounds just like a glob of sound and all I can make out is 'what, we can't save lives, we have to save society' and many things that relate to that. I cut all of the sound off by speaking louder over all the voices," Jane was the core person to our operation, we need her-"

Before I can say anything else Jenna speaks over me," No Ms. Aldrete has a point, at the least a plan, you all should respect that. I agree with her on this. Anyone else who agrees say 'I'"

At first the room is silent the I hear a bunch of people saying 'I'

"Okay, Tamzine will go on the mission, Drew, Keath, and Chelea will accompany her. Any questions?" Jenna say. The room is silent," Okay, they will head out tomorrow,

After I am heading back to my room Keath walks up to me and stares me right in the face and I realize, his green eyes glowing. As he stares at me he does something so unexpected that I don't know what to do with myself, Keath pulls up half of his lips into a half smile. Even just a half smile warms me right to the core to a point where I can't help, but smile back.

"Maybe your not a frigid bitch," he starts," Your just a bitch." he smiles a light brighter this time.

Again I feel my nerves tingle as if fireworks were going of, I then feel some kind of fluttering in my stomach, in which I had never felt before. I pull away slowly and he smiles that heartbreaking smile again, but this time showing his white teeth, making his now green eyes light up and sparkle. I smile back.

"I told you I would pay you back."

"Yup, thanks" he says awkwardly

"Of course, I am a woman of my word," I say with doubt creeping into my thought. What if we can't get her back? What if we can't find her? What if we die? What if she is already dead? That is just as worse to Keath and I than losing her, and I'm leading him right to it.
