Hey, sorry for not updating for like two months. I'm not sure when the next update (after this one) will be, but hopefully you won't have to wait as long.

Anyways.. this chapter is shorter than others.

Also, I have entered this book into The Stylinson Awards. If you'd like to check it out here's their profile; StylinsonAwards

Things had been going rather okay recently, which the two adults thought was a bit suspicious - especially with what has happened these last few weeks.

At the moment, Louis was chasing Jacob around, trying to get him ready to go out. The three of them would be spending the day at a private beach nearby, that way they wouldn't have to worry about any pictures of them getting out to the public eye and speculate some type of rumor.

"Jacob, please just cooperate," Louis practically begged. He stood at the end of the beginning of the hallway, blocking Jacob in, however the four year old had other plans and kept running from room-to-room.

Meanwhile Harry had just walked back in from packing his car, and quietly chuckled at the scene in front of him, which may or may not have caused a playful glare from Louis.

"Here, let me try," he offered, grabbing the t-shirt from Jacob and walked towards the room Jacob was currently in.

And when he came back out with Jacob fully dressed, Louis couldn't have been more relieved, and thankful for Harry.

..

"Not to far," Louis called out to Jacob as he ran towards the water. The four year old gave him a thumbs up and kept running.

Louis laid back and let out a loud sigh, staring at the sky above him and just thinking about everything. Harry had just laid down on another beach lounger next to him, with his shirt off.

And my-oh-my Louis could not believe how many tattoos he had, plus he looked even more attractive with them - if that was possible.

"I can tell you're staring at me," Harry stated with a smirk.

Louis couldn't help the bright blush that crept upon his face. "O-oh sorry." He tried to be subtle about it, but alas he was caught by Harry.

"Hey, it's fine, I promise."

A few moments later Jacob ran up to them covered in wet sand and in tears. Louis and Harry both immediately stood up, both confused about what had happened to him.

"Jacob, what's wrong?" Questioned Louis. He was in a bit of a panic since this happened all of the sudden.

"I stepped on a broken bottle," he sobbed, lifting his tiny foot up to show a huge, deep gash, most likely needing a few stitches.

Louis frowned, "Awe bubs." Jacob began to sob even more as he was pulled into Louis' arms."Harry, could you please grab the first-aid kit out of his bag?" The older man nodded and reached for the mini Thomas the Train backpack.

He grabbed a small white box that had a red cross in the middle, handing it to Louis, who was desperately trying to calm Jacob down.

Louis instructed him to grab a few cotton bandages. He grabbed them from Harry and did his best to wrap up Jacob's wound, which wasn't an easy task when the young boy kept squirming.

They quickly packed up there belongings and drove to the hospital.

..

An agonizing five hours later, and the three of them were just leaving the hospital. In total Jacob had need fifteen stitches. The poor child sobbed throughout the entire thing and head ended up tiring himself out.

"You didn't have to with us, you know," Louis stated halfway through their drive home.

Harry laughed quietly, "Yeah, but, I wanted to. Besides it would've been rude of me to just leave you there."

Neither of them spoke a word after that, and for that reason they were soon pulling into Harry's driveway.

"I've got him, but could you please unlock the front door," Harry said, handing Louis his keys since he still needed to get one for him. He accepted the keys and walked towards the front of the mansion.

He looked back and watched as Harry removed Jacob out of his car seat, causing the four year old to whine. Yet Harry quickly took action and soothed him back to sleep, then gently shut the door and walked towards Louis.

"Wow, you're really great with kids," Louis commented. He wasn't expecting Harry to be since he mentioned he didn't have any nieces or nephews. So he was quite shocked when he saw how good he was with Jacob.

"Guess it's just a natural instinct," replied Harry. He carefully climbed the stairs and brought Jacob to his room, placing him in bed before tucking him in and giving him a kiss on the head.

He wished that he could have a child of his own one day, but sadly he's never found the right partner for him.

If only he knew that it was Louis.
