....
Three days later

It was three days later when Louis had received a call from an unknown number. He had completely forgotten about the incident with the Gucci man, and therefore was not expecting a call from the agent of Harry Styles- whoever that was.

They talked for at least half an hour, discussing the matters of the dry clean bill, and how Louis could pay it. And after hearing Louis' story; the agent had felt sympathetic for him, and therefore decided that Louis only had to play half of the bill of $600.

Louis was still figuring out how he would come with 300 dollars, when he could sometimes barely afford his weekly groceries. Besides what type of dry cleaning bill costs that much money?

"Daddy?" Louis heard the voice his son call. He blinked for a moment and looked at the clock; 12:45 am. Jacob should be sound asleep by now, and honestly so should Louis, but the twenty-two year old was too stressed to sleep.

Louis turned towards his son, "Yes bubs?" He asked, wondering why the four year old was up this late.

Jacob whimpered, "I- I had a bad dream and wanted to cuddle with you, but you weren't there," he said as tears began to fill his eyes.

"I'm sorry bubs, but I was trying to do some paperwork. How about we go cuddle now," Louis suggested to his son, who had simply nodded and reached for Louis to pick him up.

Louis and Jacob both soon fell asleep peacefully, as if they didn't have to have a care in the world, or any problems to deal with. And Louis could only hope that it would stay that way forever.

....

It was the next morning and Louis had woken up early, despite not getting enough sleep, but he needed to figure out how to come up with the money, and not just for the dry cleaning bill. It had completely slipped his mind that his rent was due and now he was torn between either paying that, or the dry cleaning bill; just so he could be done with that Harry guy.

Louis had come to a conclusion of paying his rent, that way Jacob would still have a roof over his head. And well the dry cleaning bill (and Harry) would just have to wait.

"Morning dada," Jacob greeted as he walked into kitchen with his usual morning smile. Louis smiled at young boy and motioned for him to sit down while he made his breakfast; this time it was toast, and surprisingly it was not burnt.

Louis sat next to Jacob, drinking his morning coffee, and looking through the newspaper for job advertisments. There was one for a pastry chef, but Louis knew that would go well with his culinary skills. Another advertisment was posted for dog walked and it paid pretty well, unfortunately Louis had to skip it due to it being the same time as his job he had now.

The final advertisment was for a twenty-nine year old model looking for an assistant, paying $200 a day. A number was listed at the bottom of the advert, and Louis had wrote it down; thinking this would be a great idea.

If only he knew what he was getting himself into.

....

"Hi, I'm calling about the job advert for the assistant for the twenty-nine year old model, my name is Louis Tomlinson. I'd appreciate it if you could call me back as soon as possible; thank you," Louis spoke onto the voicemail of the model. His nerves were all over the place, and he wasn't even talking to the actual person.

It was currently his break time for work and he decided to call now about the job advertisment, mostly because he would not be able to do so later on, especially since he promised Jacob they could watch a movie after his classes - since he only had two that night.

There was a part of Louis that sort of regrets leaving that voicemail and he didn't have any explanation as to why he felt that way.

His lunch break soon ended and he returned back to his work, just waiting for the day to be over, so that he could go home and be with his son.
.....
When Louis arrived home, again late at night, Jacob was sleeping peacefully on the couch; the poor child was waiting for his father to come home and fell asleep.

Louis picked up his son and carried him to his room, tucking him under his Mickey Mouse blanket, and giving him a kiss on his forehead. Louis then proceeded to make his way to his room and fell asleep as well.

Tomorrow he had managed to have day off from work and school, therefore he had made plans for him and Jacob, as a way for the father and son to spend time together.

Except it just wouldn't be that way, now would it?
