I'm really not sure where to go with this fic anymore.

How would you guys feel about me doing an immense time skip and ending the book?

(This chapter is vaguely proof read, so sorry for any mistakes)

...

An almost seventeen week pregnant Louis sat on top of the kitchen counter, foraging in the cupboards for something sweet; preferably chocolate.

He was in the middle of throwing some healthy kale snack when Harry walked in, the item promptly hitting him in the chest; however, Louis continued his search and didn't bother to turn around.

"Uh.. Lou? What's going on?" He quizzed, stepping closer towards the pregnant lad who looked like he was about to fall off the counter.

"Nothing, H, just wanted something to snack on. You know those late night cravings I get," Louis replied, steadying himself on the counter.

Harry smirked, "Well, next time please call me instead of climbing the counter." He gently reached for Louis and pulled him off the granite top, followed by placing him on a barstool.

A bowl of quick-prepared chocolate pudding was made, topped with whipped topping, and finally placed in front of Louis.

"Thanks, Haz. I love you." Louis smiled, picking up the spoon and beginning to devour the delicious snack.

"You mean in general or only because I made you something to eat," Harry teased, a playful smile caught on his lips; even in the glimpsed darkness of the kitchen.

"Both."

Harry rolled his eyes and walked around from the counter, pushing the spoonful of dessert aside and planting a kiss on Louis' lips.

"Mhmm.. chocolate." He was shoved away by Louis, who hopped down from the barstool and went into another room; taking the dessert with him.

..

By the time the two had finally went to bed, after an impromptu making session with the taste of chocolate in their lips, it was just nearing three am.

"Why're we always going to be at ridiculous times? I thought we agreed on changing that," Louis announced, his head laid on Harry's chest.

"We did, but someone and their late night cravings seems to be a bit of a problem. And I'm not talking about with food," Harry winked, hands trailing down Louis' body until they reached his bump.

The pregnant lad laughed in fake-offense, "Harry, I am not!" He knew exactly what Harry was implying there, and matter of fact; he liked it.

"Okay, baby, whatever you say."

..

The following two days is when Louis had scheduled his next pregnancy appointment.

At his last appointment, his doctor made it known that the gender of the baby could known within the next few weeks, although, it all depended on if baby was going to co-operate or not.

Louis and Harry also had to discuss whether or not they wanted to know it. At first Louis was leaning towards no, but then remembered how joyous he was when he found out he was having a boy.

Yet, it was still a topic up for debate with Harry.

..

The appointment seemed to go swimmingly and baby looked quite healthy. Although Louis' doctor had spoken with them both on, how she'd like to keep a closer watch when he gets to 20 weeks.

At 20 weeks and up in male pregnancies is when things begin to get more risky for an unborn child.

"Lou, sweetie," Harry whispered. "Don't you worry I'm most likely sure everything will be alright."

"But how can you be so sure, Harry? You heard the doctor and that last of complications."

"I know, but we just have to hope for the best baby, alright?" Harry assured, soothing Louis with a kiss.

"Okay, baby, I'll try."

Harry smiled and kissed him once more, laying his arm over Louis' belly protectively.

"I love you, darling," Harry spoke to Louis' belly, when he thought he was asleep. He continued to do so as Louis' breaths began to even out, signifying that he was truly sleeping.

...

Shorter chapter, but it's quite messy.. there's no reasonable excuse as to why.
