Jeon Jungkook melempar pandangannya pada pemandangan di luar sana. Binar matanya tersorot pada hamparan tanah yang masih membeku—bahkan di bulan kedelapan. Molekul air terhempas, menempel pada lapisan kaca jendela. Lantas sesaat kemudian ia merasakan tubuhnya terguncang pelan dan kendaraan super panjang ini rupanya sudah mulai membawanya pergi.

Ia meregangkan otot bahunya yang sempat berkontraksi lantaran terlalu bersemangat menantikan perjalanannya yang mungkin akan sangat panjang. Semalaman dirinya terus memikirkan hari ini, netranya tak dapat terlelelap barang satu jam. Detik inipun daya matanya tetap penuh. Tak peduli jika tubuhnya perlahan melemah, penglihatannya bersikukuh ingin merekam setiap meter perjalanannya hingga ke tempat tujuan.

Tidak pernah ia bayangkan—pergi ke tempat sejauh ini—dan ia melakukan hal ini hanya karena orang itu dan tempat itu. Sudah lama, lama sekali sejak kelulusannya—orang itu tidak menampakkan diri, menghubungi dirinya pun tidak. Padahal Jungkook benar-benar menantikan munculnya kembali sosok itu, ia merindukannya.

Masih sangat jelas di dalam kepalanya tentang orang itu—mulai dari senyum cerahnya, tangannya yang besar selalu mengusap kepala Jungkook dengan lembut, tubuh tinggi itu yang melindunginya dari banyak hal yang berusaha menyakiti Jungkook, serta suaranya yang terlampau dalam. Sungguh, ia tidak pernah bertemu dengan seseorang yang memiliki suara sedalam dan setenang sosok itu, dan sekali lagi, ia merindukannya.
