The Ackles'

Part 1

My name is Diana. I am 16, 5 foot 4, have green eyes and fair skin, I have long light brown wavy hair. I am the middle child of two sister. My little sisters name is Rose and she is just 4. She has green eyes as well and olive skin and is the sweetest little girl. My older sisters name is Cassidi. She is 17, blue eyes, olive skin, and long dirty blonde hair. We don't know who our father is. Its always been us and our mom. Until yesterday that is. Our mother was in a car accident and didn't make it. I felt my whole world come crashing down but I knew I had to be strong for my sisters. We are currently sitting at a social services office. Apparently in my moms will, she stated that if anything were to happen to her, she would want us to go to our father. A man who was a one night stand three times in my mind. We are waiting for the man and his wife to get here so we can meet him. Cassidi is a different person. She isn't mean or overbearing, she always means well. She just is protective... I guess.  We hear a knock at the door and turn around and the social services worker, Mrs. Dane, opens it.

"You must be Mr.  and Mrs. Ackles." Mrs. Dane says politely.

"Yes ma'am." The man says

I stand up to say hello and Rose looks up at me scared. She is shy when she meets new people. I am shy even when I do know you so this is hard for me. Cassidi, I know is going to be no help with our current situation so I needed to step up. I pick up Rose and she puts her head in my neck.

"Mr and Mrs. Ackles this is Cassidi, Diana, and Rose." Mrs. Dane says

"Please call us Jensen and Daneel." The woman, Danneel, says to Mrs. Dane and she nods.

"Its so nice to meet you girls. We are so so sorry about your mother." Jensen says and Cassidi rolls her eyes.

"Thank you." I say, "Ummm I'm Diana, that over there is my sister Cassidi, and this little girl here is our little sister, Rose. Can you say hi Rose?"

"Where's mommy?" Rose says to me and I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces. I look over to Cassidi who looks just as concerned and up at Jensen and Danneel. Silently hoping one of them would say something.

"I love your doll Miss Rose." Danneel says smiling. "Do you like frozen?"

"Yeah" Rose says softly

"I have a little girl who is about your age. She loves Elsa." Danneel says and Rose smiles.

"I like Anna" Rose says smiling

"You do? So do I!" Danneel says and Rose laughs

"If we can get started?" Mrs. Dane suggests nicely. We all take a seat and start talking.

"So there is no easy way to talk about this." She says and I hear Cassidi scoff

"Cass." I say to her and she gives me a death glare so I back off.

"In the will it states that the girls' mother, Annabeth, wanted you two too take full custody of the. However, if you say no to that than we will be required by law to put the girls in an orphanage." Mrs. Dane says

"Well there is no need for that. Jensen and I have already talked about this. We want to have full custody." Danneel says and I can tell she means that genuinely.

Three hours later, papers are signed, and we are officially the Ackles' legal daughters.

We arrive at their house after going home and packing some stuff. Luckily, we don't have to switch schools because Jensen and Danneel live in the same town as us. I am currently up in my room unpacking and getting things how I want them.

"This is fricken ridiculous." Cassidi huffs walking into my room.

"Whats wrong?" I ask her

"What's wrong? Seriously? Geeze do you always have to act like such a perfect little goody two shoes?" She says to me. I huff and ignore her rude comment, like I always have.
