I knew this was going to take time, but unfortunately, time is of the essence, so I'd have to look as quickly as possible for any sort of weapon.
Efficiently, I scavenged the entire room, looking for anything that I could. I looked through every box and everywhere as far as I could see, but I came up empty.
Frustrated, I threw a box I was holding at the wall and it crumpled and fell under the pressure.
I've searched the entire room! I thought to myself, this is the house of two serial killers, how could they not have a single weapon besides the ones they were carrying?
It didn't matter. I was done with this room. I had to get out of this room, and carefully sneak around and find any sort of weapon I could get my hands on.
Quickly, I ran over to the painting, from which I'd entered, and looked around it looking for a button of some sort to rotate the wall back around.
After a bit of fumbling around, my hand came into contact with a blue button, blended into the water on the painting.
I waited to see if I could hear footsteps.
When I didn't hear anything, I pushed it and spun around to the hallway once again.
I stood there, frozen with fear.
Fear of being discovered.
Time to find the interrogation room, and find Sarah, and get the hell out of here.
One thing had totally slipped my mind.
How would I get rid of the guards?
I would either have to get rid of them, or sneak into the room, undetected.
There was still one problem, how would I sneak in?
And then it hit me, like a pile of bricks. If I wanted to get inside undetected, I'd have to take the ventilation, get in via the pipes.
It would have to be either that or get rid of the guards.
At that moment, a sinking feeling hit me in the bottom of my gut.
This house is so old, it wouldn't possibly have ventilation.
Shit. That left one option, get rid of the guards, and I knew how.
It would take precision and perfect timing.
Also, I'd have to go fast, or it would all come crumbling down.
Sarah didn't have much time, I need to get started right away.
In order for my plan of removing the guards to be a success, I'd have to put myself in danger, and over estimate my skills in an intense situation.
If the weapons aren't just lying around willy nilly, there must be a weapons room they're being kept in.
I'd have to find that room, get a gun, take care of the two guards, who would obviously be armed, and hope, that they don't gun me down.
