Kidnapped

Chapter 2

"What is that?" Sarah asked, shaking in her red cocktail dress.

For a moment, the eyes just stared at them, and then it happened.

The creature growled a loud scary growl and leaped out from behind the trees.

It landed right in front of us.

Sarah screamed and stumbled backwards landing on her back.

The animal was a cougar.

It was snarling and growling and I fell backwards in fright.

The cougar slowly walked over to us, snarling and growling at us.

When the trees rustled, the man whose dog we were looking for had appeared.

"Ah, I see you've found my, dog" he said with a smirk.

The cougar backed up to the man, who starting stroking his head.

"What's going on? Who are you? Why would you lie to us?" I asked.

Sarah shot me a look that said will you be quiet! You're going to get us killed!

"Quiet, you'll know soon enough" the man replied with a wicked smile curling on his lips.

Another man emerged from the trees and stood next to the first man.

He had green eyes that you could see clearly in the night, and his buzz cut definitely helped.

The man was wearing a black turtle neck sweater, a pair of light blue skinny jeans and black work shoes.

"Who are you? What do you want with us?" I asked as Sarah gave me another look.

"When the time is right, maybe we' tell you" turtle neck replied.

"Now here's whats going to happen now, you will come with us, you will not scream or say a word and then we will drive you to our secret location" turtle neck said.

"And what makes you think we're going to go anywhere with you?" Sarah snarled at them.

"Because you can either come with us voluntarily, or we can make you" he replied in a dangerous voice.

"How would you make us?" Sarah asked raising an eyebrow.

I elbowed her as if to say shut up! Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!

"We have ways" turtle neck replied.

"What ways?" Sarah asked.

"You ask to many questions" turtle neck said in an irritated voice.

"What. Ways?" Sarah asked.

"None of your business" turtle neck shot back.

"Why can't you tell me?" Sarah pushed.

Turtle neck didn't answer, he just nodded at the other man, who had been quiet up until now.

He reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a cloth.

Leading with the cloth, the man walked over to Sarah and pressed the cloth up over her mouth and nose.

Sarah struggled and tried to scream from under the cloth.

Slowly, she started to keep calmer and calmer, until she fell backwards and lay down on the grass.

"What did you do to her?" I asked, scared to hear the answer.

"Tell her AJ" turtle neck said.

"She's not dead, just knocked out by the chloroform on this rag" the other man replied kneeling down on the grass in front if me.
