"I got him," Erica announced, walking into the train station with Jackson Whittmore in tow. Derek had sent Erica to grab the boy because he needed to be tested to see if he was the kanima. Derek had given him the bite before any of the four betas, so he suspected that instead of becoming a werewolf, he became something else entirely.
"Ok, Isaac help Erica hold him down. I need our guest to answer some questions," Derek said. "What happened to you the night of the full moon," Derek asked, directing his attention the hostage.
"What? Nothing. Nothing happened," Jackson responded, confused.
"I know you're lying," Ryan said," You got the bite. And you didn't die, so you must be something."
"Nothing happened that night," Jackson repeated," I can prove it too. I taped myself."
Isaac laughed," You taped yourself?"
"Yea, instead of having a crisis about turning into a monster like you probably did, I wanted to see footage of the results of the so called gift your alpha gave me," Jackson explained.
Ryan looked to Derek then back at Jackson. His heartbeat was steady through out the entire time he gave his explanation. He was telling the truth.
"I can give you the tapes, if you want proof," Jackson told Derek.
"You know what, I actually have a better idea," Derek smiled evilly. Derek then grabbed a mirror with some sort of clear substance on it, which Ryan assumed was the poison of the kanima that paralyzed people. Erica and Isaac tilted Jacksons head back and kept his mouth open as the substance dripped into his mouth.
"You know Jackson, you've always been kind of a snake. And everyone knows that a snake can't be poisoned with its own venom."
The pack waited for Jackson to be completely unaffected by the poison. Instead, they got the opposite results. Jackson was completely paralyzed from the neck down, just like the rest of the kanima's victims. In annoyance, Derek walked away.
"You know, you're still a snake Jackson. Just not the one we're looking for."
Erica and Boyd also followed suit and left a paralyzed Jackson. Ryan was about to walk away as well until she saw Isaac bend down to talk to him.
"You're still gonna do one last thing for us. Well, more for Ryan and me," Isaac said. Isaac was going to force Jackson to retract his statement he made about Isaac which made him a lead suspect.
"Oh and Bender, the police don't suspect you anymore. They just assume you're helping Isaac hide out," Jackson said.
"Cool."

"So, that didn't work," Ryan stated the obvious to the rest of the pack.
"I was so sure it was him. He got the bite and didn't become one of us," Derek said, still deep in thought.
"There was someone else that got the bite and didn't turn," Ryan said, trying to remind the group of a certain red head.
"I didn't bite anyone else," Derek stated, confused.
"Yea, but Peter did. He attacked Lydia Martin on the night of the winter formal," Ryan explained," She never changed."
"Well, I have a new mission for you all. And this time I can actually include Ryan and Isaac," Derek said.
"Yea? What's that," Isaac asked, excited to finally be doing something after being trapped in the station for so long.
"You are going to find out if Lydia Martin is the kanima."

It was quite weird of her to feel, but Ryan Bender was happy to be back in school. It's not like she had any friends or cared about any if her classes, it had to do with the fact that she was in school with her new powers that she was finally in control of.
She could tell Isaac felt the same way too. Sporting a leather jacket that made him even more good looking than he already was, he walked through the empty hallways with his blonde companion quite arrogantly. Isaac Lahey had a mission to accomplish. He was not going to let anyone get in the way with that.
Just before they entered the chemistry lab, Erica joined them. The three betas who were once nobodies in Beacon Hills High School walked through the halls like they owned the place.
As she walked in to the classroom, she was stopped by Mr. Harris.
"Ms. Bender," he said to her," This is the first time this quarter that you showed up to my class. What's with the change of heart?"
"Being a fugitive gave me some time to think. It's about time i start to turn my life around," She lied with a beaming smile. Harris stared at her in somewhat of disbelief as she walked to the back to be with Isaac and Erica.
"I think they know," Ryan said to them, trying to be as vague as possible in case Scott was listening. She had felt his eyes, and the eyes of Stiles and Allison Argent, on her since she walked into the class
"They should just chill out," Erica scoffed," it's not like we're gonna kill her."
"That's what you say. I have other ideas," Isaac said, staring at the back of Lydia's head," I'm gonna kill her."
"Why do you have you're own agenda, Lahey," Erica asked.
"I asked her our freshman year, and she completely humiliated me in front of the whole school. It's payback," Isaac explained.
"Oh, a vengeful Lahey," Ryan smirked," I like it."
Erica was paired with Scott, and Ryan watched them go back and forth, not really paying attention to what they were saying. Ryan had her own station with some kid she didn't know and she really didn't do anything besides waiting for Harris to say "Switch".
She was once again paired with someone who she didn't know, but that gave her the chance to listen in on the conversation that Stiles and Isaac were having.
"If you harm one perfect strawberry blonde hair on her head I'm gonna turn your little werewolf ass into a fur coat and give it to her as a birthday present," Stiles threatened. Isaac only laughed and stated that he never got invited to one of Lydia's parties. He also told Stiles that he was going to kill her.
Finally, Isaac was paired with Lydia, so he can finally test the venom on her. Isaac had coated the crystal we were supposed to be making and gave it to Lydia to eat.
"Lydia," Scott yelled, getting up from his chair
She turned her head to him," What?"
Scott said nothing, he really didn't know what to say. Instead, he sat back down. Everyone watched intently to see if the venom would effect her. Lydia put the crystal in her mouth.
