"Wake up," Derek yelled to his pack
"Good morning to you too, sunshine," Ryan joked, still groggy
"the creature killed again."
"Yea? Where," Boyd asked, suddenly wide awake because of the news.
"At Amore Tire and Service Shop. Stiles told me about it," Derek stated," He also gave us a new clue on what this thing might actually be."
"Really," Ryan asked," What did he say? Did he see it?"
"Yes, he said it looked like a giant lizard. And apparently it has some kind of venom that can paralyze you for a pretty long period of time," Derek said.
"Holy shit," Isaac commented.
"We're fucked," Ryan stated in defeated.
"We are not fucked, Bender," Derek said," we are only this much closer to finding out what this thing is and how the hell we get ride of it."
"Is there anything you need us to do," Isaac asked.
"Train."
And they trained for the whole rest of the day. They really had nothing better to do, two of the four betas were fugitives anyways.

"Hey Ryan," Erica said," We're gonna show Derek how well we did yesterday."
Ryan, still exhausted from the day before's training said," Yea? How you gonna do that?"
"Surprise attack," Isaac said with a smirk. Ryan liked his confidence. Though cocky at times, Isaac deserved to be confident and free for once in his goddamn miserable life.
Ryan had to hold back a laugh," You three idiots really think you can take on a fucking alpha? Oh baby, I can't wait to see this shit show go down."
"I'm with Ryan, you too can count me out on whatever stupid stunt you're trying to pull on Derek," Boyd said, taking a seat next to Ryan.
A few minutes later, the four teenage betas hear their alpha coming down to the old abandoned train station they call their home
Isaac is the first to attack, but Derek fends him off so easily Isaac doesn't even get the chance to throw one punch. Derek is able to push off Isaac, who land right at Ryan's feet.
"Told you this was a dumbass idea."
But Ryan knew it wasn't over, Erica still had not made her attack on the alpha. But, the attack she made was not at all what blonde beta was expecting. Instead of attacking Derek violently, Erica jumped on him, wrapped her legs around his hips, and kissed him.
