All Of Me

Ch. 4

"Daddy, I'm tired." Nazari said and yawned, coming to sit on his lap.

"You can go to sleep if you want. We don't have to finish the movie tonight."  Nas said back and rubbed her back, hearing her light snores in his ear. He smiled a little and stood up holding her tight. 

Taking her to the room she sleeps in, he kicked the door open with his foot and laid her down in her bed. Covering her up, he kissed her forehead before exiting after turning out the lights. 

He headed back downstairs and sat on the couch. He shook his head at the thoughts burning through his mind. Everything he did over the last few years was finally catching up to him and it was hitting him harder than ever. 

He was losing his complete family. Nicki was moving on and he was stuck. She was right though. He was being selfish but he couldn't help it. He didn't want another man touching her the way he did and he didn't want  anyone coming in playing daddy to his daughter. He damn sure wouldn't have that. 

He couldn't lie and say he wasn't hurt and he is. He didn't realize the damage he had caused until now and he instantly regretted messing with all those females. Sighing out, he wanted to actually talk to Nicki face to face and have a real conversation. It won't hurt to try and repair everything he broke. Even if he's not successful at least he tried. 

Picking up his phone, Nas started typing a message:

<You sleep ?

After a few minutes of no reply, he was about to give up until he received a response:

> No Nas. wassup?

He smiled a little and texted back: 

< I'm coming to pick you up tomorrow. I have plans for me, you, and Nazari. Dress comfortable.

He sent the message back and seconds later she rang his phone.

"What's going on?" Nicki's sleep laced voice sounded in his ear.

"Exactly what I texted you. I'm coming to get you tomorrow." Nas responded back. 

Nicki sighed, "Nas what are you trying to do? I don't want to interfere with your son and daughter time. You know you barely get to see her anymore." 

"I just want some family time, Nic. I miss ya'll. I really do." Nas said sincerely. 

Nicki stayed quiet for a moment and Nas took it as a no. "It's okay-"

"What time should I be ready?" Nicki asked and Nas smiled wide.

"By ten alright? No makeup either." 

"Nas.."

"Onika. I'm serious." 

Nicki laughed and shook her head even though he couldn't see. "Okay Okay. I'll be ready. Goodnight." Nicki said after calming down. 

"Goodnight, Nic." Nas responded before he hung up and headed upstairs with the biggest smile on his face.
