Ch. 6

"You want waffles, Ari?" Nas asked her as she sat at the table with her doll and brushed her hair. 

"With chocolate and bananas?" He asked her and she nodded up and down excitedly before looking back down at her doll and focused in on braiding her hair back. Nas turned around to put the waffles on and start on some bacon for them until he heard someone come down the stairs. 

His brows furrowed until he remembered that Moriah was still here. He quickly turned around and looked at her. She moved into the kitchen and walked closer to him. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked and ran her hands through her hair. She was wearing one of his extra robes and he shook his head. The bitch was making herself too comfortable.

"Because you're still here." He said quickly.

"So? You've never had a problem with me being here before." She shrugged and sat on the counter.

"My daughter wasn't with me then." Nas responded as he turned over the bacon. "You can't be around her."

Moriah chuckled, "Why?" She asked before throwing her head back, "Oh my God, is it your baby mom again?" 

Nas scrunched up his face, "Her name is Nicki and no. It's me. I have a problem with you being here." 

"I'm not leaving until you give me the chance to please you. You used to always love when I came over here and did whatever you like." 

"Okay but not now. Matter of fact, not ever. I'm done with you and that." Nas said in a serious tone and Moriah ignored him. 

"Can I meet your daughter?" Moriah asked and hopped off the counter. 

"What? No." By the time he could respond, she was already in the dining room area where Nazari was sitting.

"Hey, sweetheart. What's your name?"Moriah asked and Nazari looked at her then at her dad. "You're gorgeous." 

He smiled nervously at her. "Ari-"

"Thanks but my mom said I'm not supposed to talk to strangers." Nazari said nonchalantly as before going back to playing with her doll.

Moriah's smile faded and she stood up, "Well your mom is right. You shouldn't talk to strangers but I'm not one. I'm your dad's girlfriend." Nazari looked up at her dad quickly with a confused expression. 

He quickly spoke up, "Nazari go get your stuff ready to leave." 

Nazari didn't protest, she got up and did as told. When she was out of the room, Nas spoke: "Are you crazy bitch? You're not my girlfriend. I don't claim you. You was just a quick nut alright?" He spoke in a serious tone.

Moriah stared back at him and chuckled coldly, "Fuck you, Nas. You're going to regret doing me like this."

"Get out and take my shit off. You got 5 minutes. Hurry up." He said to her and turned off the pan of burnt bacon. He sighed and ran his hand over his face. He regretted ever messing with these delusional thots in the first place. He knew nothing good would come from it but he was never the type to listen.

"Nazari, you ready?"

Nas asked, stopping at her door. "Yes, daddy - but what about breakfast?" she asked him and grabbed his hand.

"I'll get you something on the way." He said ad she nodded, following her father out. 

He noticed Moriah had gone finally and without another distraction, he got Nazari in her car seat and drove off.

"My baby!" Nicki yelled and picked Nazari up, giving her 10 little kisses all over her face. Nazari giggled before Nicki let her down.

Nicki then looked at Nas as he watched them have their moment, "Hey.." She spoke. "You wanna come in.. or.."

"Nah, I have to head back to LA after this. I just wanna say goodbye." Nicki nodded and allowed him to come in.

He squatted down and hugged Nazari's little body, kissing her cheek and telling her he loves her. He stood back up and went to kiss Nicki but she moved back. "too fast." was all she said before hugging him gently. He smiled a little and moved back. 

"I love ya'll okay? I'll be back soon." He said before leaving out.

Later that night..

Nicki looked up at the stairs when she heard Nazari's small feet coming down them. "Nazari, you're supposed to be asleep. You have school tomorrow." 

"I know but I have something to tell you." She came and sat next to Nicki and cuddled up into her side.

"Oh yeah? What is it?" Nicki asked her and rubbed her back in circles.

"It's about daddy."
