"Alright. We're done for now. Good work." I nod, walking past the cameras and towards the dressing rooms. "Lily! Wait!" My assistant and best friend, Nicole, rushes over. "Your phone has been ringing off the hook since you started the photo shoot." "Okay? And? Did you answer it?" I turn away, and start walking again, knowing she'd follow me. "Well, you see, I did, but Alex says he only wants to talk to you."
I sigh heavily. Alex is my one and only brother. He's a big time rap producer out here in L.A. "Okay. Hand it over, I'll call him." I grab my phone from Nicole, unlocking and dialing Alex's number. I turn the knob to my dressing room as he immediately picks up. "Lily! Hey! I've been trying to reach you forever." "My bad" I pause, pressing my phone between my ear and shoulder so I can use both hands to find my casual clothes. "What's up?" "Alright, well there's a huge party tonight, and I wanted you to come with. There's gonna be some big name celebs there. You'll fit right in." "Uh, yeah I guess I'll go. Just texts me the details." I set my phone down putting on speaker phone. "Will do. It's gonna be lit! Can't wait to see you!"
I quickly change, grabbing my purse and heading out the door. Nicole is waiting for me nearby, chatting it up with one of the photographers, Sam. "Oooh new love interest?" I tease, coming up behind Nicole. Nicole blushes, and Sam laughs. "While I hate to interrupt the 'love fest' that's going on, Nicole and I need to head out of here." Sam nods and Nicole starts heading towards the door. "Good work today, Lily. See ya next time!" "See ya!" I head out the door, getting into the blacked out Range Rover waiting for me.
"Hello Lily! Hello Nicole!" My driver, Neil, greets us with a big smile. "Where are we off to now?" "Uh, just back to my apartment, please." I respond, reaching back for my seatbelt and buckling it up. I lean back into my seat glancing over at Nicole. "So you're definitely coming to the party with me tonight, yes?" "Of course! Wouldn't miss hanging out with you for the world!"
