I turn the key to the door of my apartment, walking in and shutting the door behind Nicole. I like to pretend my apartment isn't too extravagant, but it is. I spoiled myself after saving up years worth of money, and I don't regret it all. I bought it in cash, and after all, it is my money. So why shouldn't I spoil myself?
I kick off my grey Vans by the door, and set my keys and purse on the adjacent table. "We really need to figure out what we're wearing tonight. I need to find myself a man." A jokingly say with a wink.
We wander into my room and Nicole throws open the doors to my closest. "Now you weren't only blessed with basically an hour glass figure, you've got a killer butt and boobs to go with it. We gotta show it off with out being slutty." I laugh, rolling my eyes and sitting down on my bed. Nicole loves picking out my "going out" clothes, so I always let her pick.
"So many options" She mumbles, flipping through the endless rack of dresses. "You know what I'm thinking?" "Hm?" I question, raising an eyebrow. "Black. You always kill it in black." Nicole pulls a dress out of the closest, turning around and showing it to me. It's a gorgeous solid black, bodycon dress with an open back and three quarter length sleeves. I smile, and walk over to her to take it. "It's wonderful! You know me so well." "That's what best friends are for, Lily!" She does a small hair flip and giggles.
Nicole goes back into my closest and grabs a pair of solid black, two and a half inch pumps. I typically don't like wearing any type of heels above three inches because with being 5'9" and all flat footed, super high heels make me feel like a giant.
"Perfect!" I grab the heels from her and toss them onto my bed. I grab my phone and look at the time. "Damn, it's already seven, the party starts at ten." I toss my phone back down on the bed, along with my dress. "Nicole, you can go ahead and head home to get ready if you want. I'll swing by before and get you." "Okay! I'll see you later! Bye, Lily. Love you!" "Love you too!" I call out after her.
