8 months later:

Barry's POV:
"Hey Joe, so I have something big planned for Cait tonight and I know we have only been dating for like eight months and it's a big step in our relationship but I need to take her to a fancy restaurant and do you know any places?" I asked Joe, "well what are you gonna give her?" He asked, I whispered it into his ear with a giant smile.

"You should definitely take her to that new Italian place, but this is a big step are you sure you want to do it?" He asked I nodded my head and said "thanks." and walked to my lab.

"ALLEN!" Yell Captain Singh. "Yes captain?" I said as I walked into his office. " Did you finish the report?" He asked, "uhh, I will start working on it now I said as I jogged into my lab.

2hours later:
I finally finished my report so I was turning it in to captain. "Barr, can I talk to you?" Said Joe as I walked out of captain's office. "Uhh sure?" I said. "So your sure you want to do this?" He asked. "Definitely she's the one for sure!" I said as I smiled and laughed a little bit. "Just making sure this isn't a regret or a mistake because it's still really early in your relationship." He said as he put his hands in his pockets.

"I know, but I think we are ready for this." I said as I patted him on the shoulder.
"See you later" I said as I walked out with a smirk on my face.

I ran to star labs because I wanted to invite Cait to dinner.

I walked in there and saw Cisco sitting at the computers and Cait in her lab. I walked into to Cait's lab and rested my head on her shoulder.
I saw a smile appear on her face when she realized who it was.

"Hey..." I said with a cheesy smile. "Hey." She said as she turned around to face me and pecked me on the lips.

"So uhh... I was wondering if you wanted to try the new Italian place with me tonight?" I asked as I scratched the back of my head nervously.

"Sure, but what time?" She asked as she rested her head on my chest.
"Uhh like around 8ish I guess" I said as my heart started to beat really fast I guess she could tell as she looked up to me and smiled. I put one of my hands on her neck and the other one on her waist as kissed her passionately.

"Barry, there's a fire on 8th avenue!" yelled Cisco, i ran to get my suit on. "Be careful." I heard Caitlin say.

I saw a mother crying so I ran into the complex, I saw many animals so I grabbed them then ran back in and I looked for anyone in there.

I saw a little girl trapped under a piece of wood crying.

"Hey, everything's gonna be alright ok!" I said as I tried to figure out a way to get her out. "You're the flash aren't you?" She said as she looked at me with eyes full of tears. "Yes and I'm gonna get you out of here!" I said as I started to lift the wood. "You saved me before. I was in a car wreck with my mommy and you got both of us out of the car before it exploded so thank you Mr. Flash." She said. I picked her up and said "anytime." and ran her back to her mother, and ran back to star labs.

"Good Job Barry!" Cisco said as he gave me a high five.

I started coughing really bad and fell to the ground. "Caitlin!" I heard Cisco yell before everything went to a blur.

My eyes flickered open, I saw Caitlin sitting next to me as she jumped up when she saw my eyes open. She had a sigh of relief. "You're okay!" She said as she hugged me. "W-what happened?" I asked as I coughed again. "You breathed in a lot of smoke, too much smoke." Said Caitlin. "I was so scared." she added as a tear fell down her face.
"Hey, hey Cait, I'm ok you don't need to be scared ok." I said gently and calmly. She nodded her head and hugged me as I sat up. "So are we still on for dinner?" I asked. She nodded her head. "Well it's 6:00 so we better go." I said as I checked my watch. "Bye Cisco." she yelled to Cisco as we walked out.
