Chapter 4: Backstory & Comforting

* Flashback *

Bottles smash against the smash followed by the sound of yelling probably about how in their eyes I'm worthless. I keep trying to change their minds but, they disapprove of everything I do. Nothing I do can please them..... Nothing will ever please them. I run out of the house and go to the only spot that will make me feel the slightest bit better, the willow tree in the part of the park that I know about. I do the usual routine look and make sure that no one was looking, jump the fence and, run up the hill. I start to cry but, I stop right away when I hear a sound. While hiding behind the tree I see that it was just a squirrel in another tree. I go back to my spot I keep crying and a football lands near me so, I throw it back 5 mins later a tall boy appears his name was Dylan the who would break my heart. I just didn't know it yet.

* End of Flashback *

* James' P.O.V *

Wanting to get to know Violet better so I look upstairs first and she's just sitting up still not saying a word. I walk in a bit more to see her face and it's completely pale. She looked like she's just seen a ghost. I went to put my hand on her shoulder and she again backed away before I could (she really must not like me. I wonder why?) She looks up me and apologizes for that and the time before. She proceeds to tell me about her past. "She must really trust me- No James stop listen to her you idiot" I continue to listen about her not ever feeling good enough for anybody. I really felt bad and I spent the rest of the day trying to make her feel better.

* Unknown's P.O.V *

"So she's keeping secrets. She will regret this. We know everything about her and she can't ever escape us."

* Violet's P.O.V *

I wanted to cry but, couldn't. James went down stairs to get me some water "I wonder where the other guys are?" I ask him. His response was idk but, we were about to find out.
