Chapter 9: Dinner and a Carnival

* Violet's P.O.V*

It has been a few days since the music festival and I was talking to Chris about whatever. While we were talking I kept looking at Dave who was behind me. With a quick glance at Chris' face I could tell he was getting annyoyed with me so I quickly muttered "sorry" and headed up to my room. I still couldn't get over the fact that Dave had a creepy stalker notebook of me but, I could use this to my advantage I don't know how yet but, I will find out a way. Dave walked into the room and told me to get ready for our date. So i hoppped into the shower and screamed out "dressy or casual?" I heard him chuckle and say "dressy" I looked into my closet and picket out a purple sweetheart dress. I paired it with black flats, when it was time for makeup I just had light white eyeshadow and for my hair i just curled it a bit more than it usally is. When I walked down the stairs Dave was no where to be found I asked Chris and he told me that he was in the car I nodded and walked out the door where I saw Dave. He opened the car door for me like a gentleman and we headed out to dinner. The car ride was silent but, it was comfortable. Once we arrived at the restaraunt which was a cute little place and outside patio area where you eat. Dave was talking to the hostess and she led us outside to the little patio area. A really hot server came out and he started to flirt so I flirted back I ordered a rootbeer and Dave got a Sprite. Once the server leaved who was named Todd Dave got really annyoyed with me and all I could do was laugh. This only got a curious look from him I basicaaly yelled at him "couldn't you tell that he was flirting with you?!?!" He laughed and said "no because your the only person I'm paying attention to tonight." I blushed and awed. We skipped out on dessert and we saw a cute carnival so I asked Dave if we could go and we went. I went to go get cotton candy and I came back to only see Dave trying really hard to win me a teddy bear it was really adorable. When he finally did win it , we went on the ferris wheel and to add to the cheesyness of the date it got stuck on the top. Although it was cheesy the stars looked really pretty we even saw a shooting one! I wished that I didn't have to pick between Dave and Chris because they really are the best people that I will ever meet. I looked over at Dave and asked him what he wished for and he told me that if he told me that it wouldn't come true. Then he immediately asked me what I wished for "practice what you preach" I replied sassily we both laughed and headed back to the car to end our magical evening. As soon as we arrived home I feel into bed snuggling with my new bear who I named Charles cause he had a top hat on and deserved a fancy name. Dave kissed me on the forehead and I smiled.

*Dave's P.O.V*

We were stuck on top of the ferris wheel and saw a shotting star pass by we both made a wish and I wished that Violet would pick me. Once we got home she instantly passed out on bed and I kissed her forehead which in return she showed a smile. I walked down to the lving room talking to Chris about Violet and what we both did for our dates and reasons that we would make a better boyfriend. We continued this agruement for a long while until Chris eventually gave up and I fell alseep on the couch. I heard some shuffling around but I passed it on as nothing.

*Chris' P.O.V*

Once Dave got home we just kept arguing about Violet and how we'd treat her this went on for quite a while. But, after the only words I heard Dave utter were "I will fix her." I had no idea what he ment but then I had a bigger realization that Dave and Violet belong together which of course crushed me but, I could never live with myself I she picked me. The last thing I want is to end my friendship with Dave over her. Dave soon fell alseep so I went to my room and stared at the celing trying to figure out how to convince Violet to pick Dave. Buut, then it hit me, I began to write a note
