And here I was. In front of my house. I knew that in a few minutes my parents will be shouting at my face.

I took a deep breath before grabbing the spare key I had. I slowly turned the key in the lock and opened the door, trying to make no sound.

The door creaked with an instant and I flinched while pressing my lips together. I slowly crept in and closed the door gently

I then stood for a couple of seconds, trying to hear any noises in the house.

Nothing.

They must be out.

Maybe searching for me.

I took out a relieved breath and threw my shoes across the shoe rack.

I wiped the sweat off my forehead before going into my room and changing my clothes.

I gasped as I entered my room. All my drawers were opened, clothes on the floor and on the bed.

' What the.... ' I mumbled before grabbing my hoodie from my coat hanger

I placed that on before going to the lounge and turning on the TV.

The screen popped up and it was giving Riverdale (Ayee anyone watched Riverdale?😂)

I didn't pay attention to anything. I kept on wondering what my parents will do to me.

They're probably still searching for me..... I might as well call them to say that I've returned.

I shivered as I looked at mum's contact on my screen. I can't do this....

But I have to.

Just as I was about to press call, I heard the front door open and I could hear mum and dad.

I stiffened.

This is not going to go well.
