Allison's POV

As soon as I entered the house, I knew something was up. The house smelt of something. Something Familiar..... Too Familiar.

Simon noticed it too as i saw his facial expression. He lifted his nose up to smell the air.

I scanned the hallway, and stopped at the shoe rack.

Alex's trainers.

The one's that have been missing

I froze

' Allison? You okay? ' I heard Simon say as he walked in front of me

I can't move. So I simply just point.

He follows the end of my fingertip and his gaze lands onto the shoe rack. As soon as he saw Alex's trainers, his eyes widened

' Is he here? ' Simon mumbled

I lifted my shoulders, we walked deeper in the house.

Just as the kitchen came to sight, we heard the TV. We snapped our heads to the side and walked towards the lounge door.

' Wait ' I whispered before grabbing Alex's old baseball bat..... Just in case

' Go ' I said and nudged my head towards the door.

But before Simon could grab the doorknob, the door swung open.

Alex's POV

I opened the lounge door, and there they were.

Mum Began shaking as she dropped my old baseball bat onto the floor. Why did she have my baseball bat?

' Alex? ' Dad said as i turned my gaze to him.

He then ran to me and hugged me tightly. Mum was crying on the floor

' WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN? ' Dad said as he knelt down and placed his hands on my shoulders

' I..... I don't know..... But I'm home now, I don't get what's the big deal ' I said and glanced at mum.

' What's the big deal? Seriously Alex? WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU FOR DAYS..... Your mum couldn't sleep during the nights, everyone else was dead worried, and your not even sorry? Seriously? ' Dad said and looked me dead in the eyes

' Alright, alright, I'm sorry ok? ' I said and raised my hands up

Dad glanced at mum (who was still crying) and then me, he nudged me to go to mum

I gulped before slowly making my way towards mum. Dad stood up and started making phone calls to everyone that I'm home.

I stood in front of mum.

' I'm sorry ' I whispered and mum looked up at me. She looked dreadful.

' I thought.... I thought I would never see you again ' she stuttered before grabbing me to a hug.

' Promise me you will NEVER do that again ' Mum said and looked at me

' I promise ' I whispered.

Mum then took a deep breath before stranding up.

' Go take a shower, I'll make lunch for you ' She rubbed my hair before walking towards the kitchen

I placed my head against the wall and took in a breath.

I hope mum and dad are together now.
