Lola's POV

Me and Carter still have to talk about what happened between us, but tomorrow we leave for Dallas!!!!! Then as I was lost in my thoughts I got a text,

From: Carts🏀😋💩

Hey L we really need to talk.

Me: yeah we do, when?

Carts: park in 5?

Me: perf. c u then.

Few minutes later I started walking to the park across the street. As I was walking I saw Carter on the swings, so I started jogging toward him. He greeted me as I approached him the motioned me to sit on the other swing.

Carter's POV

I saw Lola jogging toward me, so I stood up to greet her. We sat on the swings, and as I was about to say something she did,

"Did you feel anything when we kissed?"

Me: "yeah, did you?"

F: "yes, but I don't think we should date or anything, we are best friends it will ruin our friendship if we break up, and magcon is tomorrow"

Me: "Lola I have liked you since elementary school, even if you say we can't date or anything I want you to know I will always be your best friend, and you will always be the love of my life, forever and always"

Lola's POV

After he said that I was tearing up, (I am an emotional person)
I told him, "maybe in a little we can try to be together, but if we end up breaking up, just remember what you said, forever"- then he cut me off saying, "-and always"
We walked down to my house laughing at the most random things.
