Prologue 3: Grimm Invasion of Planet Earth

   "GIANT ALIENS ATTACK THE WHOLE PLANET" by Yang Xiao Long. The maroon-headed young lady had read an article from the Weekly World News frontpage. She was so interested at the news while riding on a ferry boat going to the Statue of Liberty. She carried along with her canine companion.

" See, Zwei," she smiled proudly. " My sister is a great news writer! I'm proud of her. I wonder why she's interested in writing about space invaders. What do you think? "

Zwei was not paying attention to his owner. He kept looking and turning his head on the sea. Perhaps, he wanted to go around the area and playing with the other passengers. However, there was a slight tremor on the trip. The crowd was surprised about this sudden earthquake and murmured to one another. The dog howled as if he sensed some danger. Suddenly, there were giant tentacles and other fins emerged from the waters of New York Harbor. Those gruesome monsters resembled with giant squids and killer whales. They were about to attack the other human beings. Another woman screamed as loud as a siren. The others were about to cry and run in order to hide themselves from any serious threat.

" Please remain calm on your seats," the captain's voice warned the passengers. " We are speeding up to the nearest harbor as soon as possible." The passengers couldn't listen to the captain's orders. There was another pterodactyl looking creature approaching to the ferry boat. It snatched the young crew member away from the ship. The captain was very anxious as he was about to release his rifle to protect the boat passengers.

" It's supposed to be my vacation!!", Ruby Rose grumbled. " These grimms are making me mad!!" She took her weapon from her red backpack. Zwei kept barking when someone took him. It was a young man with a weird top on his hair. He was dressed in a black suit. Ruby was surprised that a man got her dog away.

" Ma'am, this is a serious situation," he said. " I have to take care of your pet from these extraterrestrials."

" Thanks, mister," she replied. " But I have to save the world from these grimms. Please take care of him."

" Wait a second, " he hastened. " I'm not here for doggy sitting!! These aliens are threatening us right now!!"

" Sorry!! Bye!!", she left hurriedly and prepared herself to the battle.

" PLEASE NOOOO!!", he cried and carried the dog in his arms. Agents J and K came to their fellow earthling companion.

" E! WHAT'S GOIN' ON?!", J asked as he was surprised at his fellow.

" The girl left me a dog. She went berserk or something..", E answered as Zwei smiled and licked on the Earth-human's face.

" STOP PLAYING WITH THAT CANINE, EARTH-SLICK! We have aliens to shoot." K said angrily and gave him a scornful look.

" Yes, sir," E said as he was still carrying Zwei. " I have to..."

"....Protect the world from the scums of the universe, E. " the African-American agent laughed. "Not the cute little dog."

The 3 MIB Agents ran quickly to the top of the ferry boat. They saw the injured captain lying unconsciously on the floor. K held the man's wrist and said, " Hey, slicks. He's gone.."

" We have to warn the passengers. It's getting nasty," J said.

" Dude, we've just heard the warning from him, recently," E added. Zwei the dog licked the MIB Agent's face and his weird hairdo top. " Hey! Stop licking my head! I'm not a doggy treat!"

K and his fellows took their standard issue guns from their coats. E was still carrying the canine as he began to shoot the giant monsters. J did the same thing, but he saw a girl jumping and attacking the monsters.

" IT'S HER!! THE OWNER OF THIS ADORABLE PUP!!" E yelled. " PLEASE STOP DOING THIS, YOU'LL GET HURT!!"

J and K kept shooting the other enormous creatures. Ruby Rose was twisting and turning as she slashed them with her Crescent Rose. She saw that the other creatures were multiplying in number. She had an idea that she could make a whirlpool into the sea. She leaped and fell into the water. With her huge red weapon, she whirled as the creatures got confused and killed. Agent K drove the boat as soon as it could land safely. J was shooting the flying monsters until they fell directly into the sea. E kicked the wings of these horrible creatures. The dog was smiling on his arms. The whirlpool became so intense as the passengers had witnessed the weird incident. The monsters were all drowned, floated, and disappeared into thin air. Finally, It was over. Ruby swam to the shore and started to stand up as she saw the ferry boat landed on the shores of Battery Park. She noticed some passengers returned into their normal lives after the strange trip. They seemed that they had forgotten everything. She approached a crew member and asked, " Mister, Are you alright?"

" Yeah, I don't know what happened," he said and scratched his head.

" No more aliens, I don't know why?" the elderly man added.

Ruby ran immediately to see what happened to her dog. There were other people dressed in black suits blocked her way. She tried to reach the man who took care of Zwei. She saw him with other MIB agents.

" Good job flashing the crowd, E," K smiled and tapped the young MIB agent's shoulders.

" Thanks, K." he smiled and brought the dog down. Agent E kept the neuralyzer and RayBans into his coat.

" It's a good thing you fought with these odd Titans along with this pooch." J laughed.

" Yeah, he's very brave one." E replied.

" ZWEEEIIIII!!" Ruby rushed and hugged her canine pal. Zwei barked and jumped at her. " Thank goodness! You're okay!!" She turned to Agent E and shook his hands. " Thanks for saving my Zwei!! I'll never forget this!!"

K took his neuralyzer and RayBans and said, " Miss.. I'm sorry but I have to do this."

" NO! NO! PLEASE! I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY DOG! I'M SO GLAD HE'S OKAY!!", Ruby replied like Speedy Gonzales. Agents J and E were speechless as they stared at her. " IT'S A PLEASURE THAT YOU TOOK CARE OF HIM! WHILE I WAS FIGHTING THOSE GRIMMS AT SEA, I SAW THAT YOU'RE FIGHTING ALONG WITH ME! YOU'RE VERY AWESOME HUNTERS, ANYWAY!! IT'S A GOOD THING THAT WE HAD SAVED THE DAY FROM THEM!!"

" Woah, slow down.. lady," J startled. " Did you call these nasty Godzillas, Grimms?"

" Yeah.. I fought them when I was in Vale City," she answered with a smirk. " I didn't know that they're here in New York. Maybe, I just read an tabloid from my sister. They invade the whole world, I guess."

" Ma'am, " E added " I beg your pardon. These Grimms are aliens which we are destroying, too. That's why we're here for a search and destroy mission against them."

" Cool!!", Ruby gleed.

" You did a great job, lady. It looks like dance number." the senior agent replied. " We're going to recruit you into the top secret organization to monitor and police extraterrestrials throughout the universe. You must be.."

" Ruby Rose," she offered a handshake to the 3 gentlemen in front of her. " It's nice to meet you."

" I'm Agent K,", he said. " These are my fellow agents, J and E."

" It's a pleasure." she replied.

" Believe it or not, you're gonna love this job in Men in Black.", J smiled.

" Strange, but the coolest secret organization, ever!" E added.

" Alright then, I'm in!!" Ruby said confidently.
