Chapter 16

    " It seems you are agitated, Mr. Fury," Miss O said as she paused her computer work. She noticed the SHIELD Director's anxiousness.

" Our problems are getting worse than ever," Fury sighed when he anxiously went to and fro at the MIB Chief's office. " The HUB may have a possible threat, when the White Fang has started their widespread invasion. I've heard a lot of casualty reports from some surviving SHIELD Agents. So, I decided to take my men into your headquarters. Our defense system is too weak for our enemies. Even, the Avengers may not able to defeat them all after the battle against Ultron."

" Meaning to say that MIB's defense system is stronger than yours?" she asked curiously.

" Yes, indeed. Madam Chief. Your base has equipped with impressive alien technology," he shrugged. " That's why we need more help from you."

" I understood then, Mr. Fury. Well, I have a question regarding to your INDEX system." the British MIB Chief said and looked carefully at the next report from the 2 SHIELD agents. " What is the relevance of bringing your agents into the INDEX list?"

" Some people may have superhuman abilities or we called them 'Inhumans'," he answered. " We have to take them in order to lessen their threats against the public crowd. They were mutated since birth or any source of alien biochemical exposure. Agent Daisy Johnson is one of them. Now, she's no longer a threat to SHIELD."

" What do you mean some of them are threats?"

" The Inhumans may use their powers for evil. Some of them are uncontrollable to be fearful in the public eye. So, our objective is to bring them away from the civilians for their own safety."

" That makes sense," O replied. " According to their report, one of my agents have discovered to have sudden Pyrokinesis after an interrogation."

" He is a threat, indeed. Miss O, you have to place your agent into a Maximum Security Cell. If you have that kind of facility for your dangerous beings."

" Yes, there is. We had a case of an Inhuman MIB agent named Alpha around 50 years ago. He stole the Cosmic Integrator and took some alien body parts. Just like you've said, he was a threat to the us and we considered him a criminal," she replied. " We incarcerated him more than 10 years ago."

" I see then."

" But what terribly bothers me about Agent P, he is one of the most reliable and trustworthy MIB agents. From their report, they saw his powerful outburst. Apparently, I've heard about his sudden death in Remnant and his revival by the GH-325 serum, the Fire Schnee Dust, and the half-Pyronian blood from Agent Y. I don't think we will consider him bringing into your INDEX list."

" We have no choice, ma'am," Fury sternly said. " You had an ex-agent who's dangerous to your organization and would have violated a protocol. Now, your trusted one may even do the same thing. You have to play safe with your agents."

Miss O sighed from the SHIELD Director's words. She couldn't believe about P's sudden transformation into an Inhuman. She wasn't able to think that an MIB agent like him would do such a powerful ability. Placing him in the INDEX list or imprisoning him was not a good idea for her. She had known him as one of the senior agents, yet she was not happy with that solution. She took a deep breath and glanced at the SHIELD's report. She had no choice, but to submit herself to the other chief's suggestion.

" If that's the case," she said. " We will put him under Maximum Security and custody for observation and analysis of his strange condition. He may be included in that list. I'll consider him as an MIB agent with a special case, but it does not mean that he is a threat. If he does anything hazardous, we have some immediate actions for our safety."

" Fair enough."

Suddenly, a message had flashed from the monitor screen. Miss O opened the icon and read it. She turned to the SHIELD Director.

" Mr. Fury," she said. " We have a meeting to observe about the development of that 200 year old Faunus weapon. If you're interested to come with me at the laboratory and engineering department."

" Perfect," he cheerfully grinned. " I would like to see that thing!"

The MIB laboratory and engineering department were crowded when the staff had busied themselves with some SHIELD people. They were about to finish analyzing the weapon's interior and exterior. The others were looking forward for any answers about its mystery, as they listened attentively.


" This is a nuclear armament," Fitz said and explained his new discovery. " It is a massively destructive weapon. It can take 100 trillion tons of an ordinary TNT energy. If it had fired 200 years ago, then it would had destroyed more enormously than the Nagasaki and Hiroshima Bombings during the World War II. The radiation exposure was the worst effect in the Faunus history."

Trevor Mc Fox nodded and agreed, " It's true. Our ancestors had built for defending our planet from invaders. The White Fang is planning to use it again for their annihilation." He continued to listen at the statement.

" That's exactly correct," the SHIELD engineer smiled and continued. " As we see here, the writings on the surface serves to activate its detonation, like touch sensors. The interior itself had a nuclear fission reactor in order to produce a large amount of energy. Most likely, the Faunus race was using hydrogen isotopes for energy and other elements as well."

" Wait, " W the half-Arendellan added as she had remember something . " It's the Milky Way dust, the most dominant element in the Universe!! It has the most hydrogen atoms contained!!"

" W," V the Venusian said as she got curious. " The Milky Way galaxy itself is abundant with Hydrogen and Helium traces. How come it concentrates with the most Hydrogen parts?"

" My father from the Schnee Dust Company took a sample from your beautiful galaxy. He recreated the Milky Way dust as a source of nuclear energy."

" So that means my fellow ancestors came to the Milky Way to obtain a galactic energy source?" B the Cat Faunus added. " But my home, Andromeda has the same element from this galaxy. I read about a book which my people had traveled there more than 200 years ago."

" That answers it," Trevor replied. " but they were taking all the galactic dust to activate the weapon."

" Yes, I agree," Fitz added and continued his statement. He was turning to the 2 Faunuses. " If that's your conclusion of the hydrogen isotopes, then they had accumulated them as a source of energy." He turned to another holographic slide. " The MIB engineers also analyzed a reactor to work as fission bomb inside this object. It's one of the missing parts to solve and complete this sophisticated missile."

" The obelisk," B said. " It must have been landed in your solar system or perhaps, somewhere in this galaxy."

" I've heard of that before," X added as he recalled another previous case in MIB. " The Legend of the Kree Temple in Puerto Rico which I went there before."

" The Kree species," Simmons said. " I've been there to see the other obelisk which Skye had been."

" Well, there's another obelisk," Trevor added. " I met with some Kree people during my journey. They gave it to my ancestors for the weapon which they had told me about. It happened that my fellow Faunus had disposed and scattered throughout the universe."

" That makes sense, Mr. Mc Fox," the SHIELD engineer said. " Your ancestors took and it away from your enemies as a protection. It is also my theory while analyzing it."

" Yes, I searched all over the cosmos to find every pieces." the Faunus keeper replied. " Thanks for all your efforts in finding and rebuilding them. I found the next keeper here on Earth." He turned to his fellow Faunus at his side. Agent B stared at everyone. She thought that the keeper's responsibility was being passed to her. She knew everything from what her friend had said.

" I am the next keeper," she calmly said. Agent B was about to touch the strange cuneiform on the surface. Everyone was astonished to what she had said. They couldn't believe an MIB agent like her who could be the answer for this mystery. " I'm supposed to activate this weapon, but I need your help to find the other pieces. Some people in your solar system found them."

" Miss B, " the Plutonian called her attention. " Your life will be in great danger. The White Fang plots to kill you and Trevor. They made a terrible invasion in the other galaxies looking for you and your valuable object. "

" He's right," X added with a concern. " We will protect both of you at all costs."

" No.. you don't have to.." she hesitantly replied. " I'm going to help you with this quest for that weapon and fight against our enemies. You don't need to do that."

" Agent B, " O the MIB chief said. " Your life is at stake. We need you and Trevor in custody. I don't want anyone to die in this moment. The weapon will be safe at the headquarters." She turned to Fitz and said, "Thank you, Agent Fitz for your explanation. We will proceed to its further completion and safekeeping."

" Yes, ma'am."
