Chapter 6

   Few weeks ago, the MIB and SHIELD Agents began their investigating activity about the White Fang incidents in other countries. At first, their adjustments seemed to be difficult. They had some misunderstandings about the rules between these two organizations. There were some arguments about the catching the villains, and anti-alien technology policies from SHIELD. The MIB people had some disputes in this merging. The extraterrestrials coming to Earth were unhappy as they complained to their Earthling friends. They didn't like the changes in the Men in Black.

For Agent E, he was unhappy about it. He became inactive for days. He was no longer the eager, dependable, thrill-seeking,friendly, and determined operative who was very enthusiastic in chasing the scumbags and probing other cases with his friends. There were times that he was absent from his duty. He was serious ,sarcastic, bitter and hot-headed when the SHIELD agents arrived in their HQ. He hated the merging situation very much. He ended up sitting alone on a couch at the MIB Interplanetary Lounge. Agents J and R saw him in his sullen face and sat beside him.

" E, what's the matter with you?" the African- American asked. " You're not dynamic these days."

" Well, I'm not interested with that merging. It sucks," he replied to his associate. " Besides, what's the use of joining with the SHIELD agents? I don't agree with the new policies, especially they tend to hinder our activities. Man, I don't like it."

Agent J frowned at his fellow Earthling's derogating comment. He was tight-lipped ,but he remained calmly at him.

" If K hears what you're saying, he could probably tell you that, ' Hey, Earth-Slick! Is that what I taught you? Saying nasty things to other people? ' E, if you're still like that I could have.."

" What neuralyze me, suspend me or report me to the Chief! Yeah, go ahead. I don't really like what's happening here?"

" Dude, your promotion as senior agent is at stake!"

" So what?! I don't care!!" E replied indignantly. " Going with Coulson and the others is getting on my nerves!!"

" GUYS, STOP IT!!" Agent R said seriously. Agents J and E got their attention to the maroon-headed MIB agent. She was not happy about their argument. She looked at them straightly like she did on her Beacon Days with her fellow teammates.

" What's wrong with you, two? You guys are acting like jerks! I really don't understand what you're arguing about. There's nothing wrong with the Merging! All I want is to stop with this childish nonsense." R made a sermon to her colleagues and turned to her partner. "E, I trusted you ever since we've met. You're the reliable, and enthusiastic person. How come you're like that?! It's not the E that I met!!"

Agent E felt ashamed from his partner's words. He was listening attentively and sighed. J looked at him with a concern.

" Well, I guess I'd better get going," E said blatantly and stood up. He was about to leave them, when his hand was being pulled by R.
"Hey, R!! What the heck?! Let me go!!"

" We need a talk!! " R said.

" Frankly speaking, we need information about you, E." J smiled and turned to the maroon-headed lady. " Right, R?"

" Yep!!" she beamed and turned to her partner with her grim smile. "You're not going anywhere, E!! Just tell us, why are you angry with the SHIELD Agents?!"

E gulped and sat down immediately at the couch. He had no choice but to remember anything from his involvement with the SHIELD. He took a deep breath and said, " Alright, guys. I'll tell you a story...." J and R glanced each other and nodded. They were very curious about Agent E's life story.

" Okay, I was Terry Tellumo in real life. I joined the SHIELD after I discovered a Chitaurian ship landed on Arizona. Coulson and Fury accepted me into the organization. We were protecting the world from any threat of alien invasion and HYDRA's deeds. Four years ago, we had detected a signal from Remnant and found the remains of an extraterrestrial object from space. We sent it to the HUB for further analysis, but our scientists and archaeologists couldn't detect or study the writings on it. Finally, we asked for help to Professor Ozpin in Beacon Academy. He mentioned about the Faunus race and that mysterious thing. Coulson and I couldn't believe that there were other alien races beyond our galaxy. Ozpin told us that the enemies, White Fang had been looking for it and they wanted to attain it. Then he told us to keep it away from them. Coulson knew exactly where to hide it. We went to the Amazon Forest in Brazil and buried it under the tree. Then, I put a rock beside it. I didn't knew that the White Fang were chasing us at that time. We quickly fought and avoided them, but another SHIELD agent hindered us from that activity. Her name was Victoria Hand. She wanted us to give the mysterious object to her faction, but I refused. Coulson asked me why, but I told him that I didn't trust her and her colleagues. I knew that Hand had plans to take it to the enemies. All of the SHIELD people blamed me for my action, but Coulson tried to defend me. He didn't want me to be terminated. When Director Fury found out Amazon Incident with the White Fang, he studied the case and asked me to leave the SHIELD in order to protect myself. He said that the object would be a confidential case just like Coulson's TAHITI. Looking back, I began to resent all of them. They never believed me, in spite of what happened. Now, they're joining with us and they're going to steal it away. They're going to hinder our works, here."

Agent J sighed and said surprisingly, "That's a very compelling story which I've heard from you. I read your records during your recruitment that you're a former SHIELD agent?! How come you joined with us?"

" Yeah, You met Professor Ozpin before, didn't you?" R asked curiously. " What was the Faunus thing all about?"

" I really had to tell him about that object," E replied. " He said it was a weapon to protect their planet from their invaders. It became broken when they had dismantled it and dumped it to space, 200 years ago. I knew exactly why the White Fang is making an annihilation across the Universe. They're searching for it to destroy any planet and race."

" Well, E, " J said. " You had a terrible issue in the past, but please forgive. We don't know that they're trying to help us."

" Yeah, He's right," R added. " We need their help, too. If they know something about that stuff, then they can give us any clues about it."

E attentively listened to them and said as he remembered something, " Wait.. guys. Trevor! Trevor Mc Fox is the keeper of that Faunus object. He's been looking for the other pieces of it. J, R, Please help me to get me to him. I wanted to tell him about what I saw in Remnant and buried in the Amazon."

" E, X and V are doing that analysis in the lab," J replied to his fellow. " We'll have to wait for the updates about it."

Meanwhile, V and W were talking about the Faunus object remains while headed themselves to the laboratory and engineering department. They were surprised that Fits and Simmons were dressed up in black suits. They followed them on the way.

" Hi!" he smirked. " We're going to Agent X for some information about the Faunus remnant from Trevor Mc Fox."

" We're scientists, too." Simmons added. " We would like to help you with your lab work."

" Just for a while, Agent Simmons," V the Venusian replied. " We have to wait for our superior's approval."

" What's going on here? " X asked indignantly to them. He came from the lab hallway.

" Sir, we have SHIELD agents to volunteer with our analysis," V replied as she moved her holographic screen in front of her. " They wanted to join with us."

" Yes, give them Schnee Dust!!" W added.

" Cosplayers?" X said sharply. " MIB agents are authorized to go in the laboratory, not outsiders who dressed up like MIB."

" Sir," Fitz replied. " We have the similar case four years ago, the Faunus metallic remnant. If you mind, we need to help with your..."

" Please.." Simmons stared at him like begging.

" I don't think," X patted his face and turned to his colleagues. " Will you two, please?!"

" Sir, It's the chief's orders," the Venusian answered.

" May, I Mr. X?" W grinned and asked. "If you don't like them to be one of us, I'm going to bribe you by giving free Schnee dust sample. Perhaps, this will be the only solution for letting Fitz and Simmons enter this place."

" GO! JUST LET THEM IN!! IT'S FREE DUST FOR THE PROTOTYPE WEAPONS!!" the MIB engineers cheered.

X sighed and heard their chants. V and W made a very convincing glance to the MIB chief engineer. Fitz and Simmons were waiting for any answer.

" Alright, you can go," he said as he frowned from W's persuasive tactics of giving free Schnee dust in MIB.
