13: food

We both walked into my house
Mattie and Alfred are still not home
I don't know if that's a good our bad thing
"I'm going to make food" I said
He nodded and sat on the couch

I walked into the kitchen
Ugh of course we don't have that much food
I guess I'll just have to make ramen

I got a pot and filled it with water
Then I sat it on the stove
And left it to boil
I sighed as I watched tiny bubbles form in the water

Once it started to boil I turned the heat down and put the ramen in
I grabbed a soup spoon and started to stir the ramen

I felt to arms wrap around my waist
I blushed
"Thank you for today (y/n)" this sent shivers down my spin
I nodded
"It's no problem kiku" I said quietly
Man he's at that point where he needs human contact

I turned around and hugged him
This caught him by surprise
"Kiku remember I'm always here for you no matter what"
I then let go of him and got back to making the food

Once it was ready I poured it into two soup bowls for me and Kiku
I set it on the table
I went back into the kitchen to get something
Ahhh here they are
I grabbed two pairs of chopsticks and sat down at the table
I handed Kiku his
And we started eating

We talked about random things as we ate
Like when the newest anime is coming out or anime in general

"So what are you doing after highschool" Kiku asked
And I almost spit out my food
I swallowed my food and took a deep breath
"I don't really know yet I guess I'm just going to go with the flow"
I said
He nodded
"How about you" i said
He shrugged
"I don't know but I was thinking about going back to Japan"
I nodded to hide my disappointment

"So what's Alfred doing?"
I shrugged
Just so you know me and Kiku are in our last year of highschool
Alfred is on his 2nd year of college
(He skipped one grade in middle school)
The highschool and college are on the same campus weirdly
Matthew goes to a different college and he is on his first year

"He's going for a bachelor's in Game Design & Development and he is on the football team he's on his 2nd year" he nodded
"Good for him"
"Ya" I shrugged
"Hey kiku?" I said
"What is it (y/n)-san?"
He said
"What's your dream" I said looking him in the eye
"Oh um....well I want to make manga but other then that I'm not sure"
I nodded
"How about you (y/n)-san?"
I thought for a moment
"Well I would like to travel the world"
He nods

It was time for bed so we both went to our rooms
And fell asleep
