32: wait (final)

It's been a few days since graduation
And I still don't know what I'm gonna do
Hmmm oh ya I better get ready
Kiku said he wanted to meet up at the park
I don't know why
But he sounded a little serious

I put on a (f/c) sun dress and (f/c) flats
I left my hair down

I walked downstairs
And looked around
Seems like he already left

I walked to the park
I saw Kiku and waved
He looked away
Hmmm that's weird

I walked up to him
"Hello kiku!" I said smiling
He was looking at the ground now
"What is it that you need?"
I asked tilting my head a little
He took a deep breath and looked up
Rubbing the back of his neck
"I-im...." he looked down
"I'm moving back to Japan...."

That felt like a punch in the gut
My eyes widen and I felt tears start to form
"W-what....." I said looking at him
This is probably a joke
Oh who am I kidding
Kiku's not the one to joke around

I bit my lip
"So your really going.....?"
He nodded looking down
I felt the tears run down my face
I made a fist
He can't go
I'll miss him

I looked up and he gave me a sad smile
"I'm sorry (y/n)-chan" he said
I took a deep breath
"You better not forget about me" I said
"Don't worry there's no way I could forget you" he said
I nodded

So he's really going
I shook my head as Kiku walked away
I can't believe this

*next day*
I woke up the next morning even though I don't want to
I looked at my clock
And my eye's widen
If I'm quick enough I can make it to the airport in time

I put on my shoes and grabbed my phone
I ran out the door and hopped into my car I quickly buckled myself in and drove off

You see Kiku was staying with yao and the rest of his family this week
So that's why he's not here

I parked the car and ran out
Once I got into the crowded building
I frantically looked around
where is he
Then I spotted a familiar figure

I ran over to him
"Kiku! Kiku!" I yelled
This made him turn around
His eyes widen in surprise
Thank God I made it in time

I glomped him
This caught him by surprise
I started crying as he held me in his arms
Probably for the last time
He lifted up my chin and wiped away my tears
He kissed my forehead
I blushed and looked at him with tear stained eyes

We pulled apart
He put something in my hand
he waved before walking away
I bit my lip
I opened up my hands and saw a beautiful locket
With a picture of the two of us

I felt the tears run down again as I watched kiku walk away

There will be a 2nd book
The first chapter will be posted on
July 29th
I wanted to take a small break
And also write some of the chapters
So I'm looking forward to that
