*IMPORTANT NOTICE* If you read nothing else here, read this: I used the names of Monstercat artists that do not belong to me, but this has nothing to do with music or anything like that, therefore it is not really considered a fanfiction. That's why it's under the Science Fiction category (also there isn't a Dystopian category, though there should be, because this is more like that). It reads like a normal story so anyone can read it. I needed to point that out, as the names technically belong to Monstercat. Also, the chapter names are Monstercat songs, but the song itself is unimportant to the chapter - just the name.
Other important notice: as I'm writing this, mature themes come up, but I don't graphically describe anything and there is no bad language, even though the story is rated mature. If it was a movie, it'd be PG-13 because of the amount of violence and the small amount of gore, as well as discussing things like rape - it does not describe it nor promote it in any way. This story is not appropriate for younger readers. Read at your own risk. Thanks.
Okay, here's the rest if you decide to read it:
Hello. I see you've found my second Monstercat "fanfiction". No. This is not the typical fanfiction you're thinking of. I used names of the artists and some cool fanart (appropriate credit given) and one of my OCs - contrary to my final note on Rebel, it's not Phantom; his name is Echo - and constructed this interesting thing.
It's kind of similar to the first one I've written, called Rebel, but this is more of a fantasy/sci-fi/dystopian/apocalyptic story where the plot mostly revolves around the conflict inside the Raiders. Have you seen Doctor Strange? The sci-fi fantasy is kind of like that - seemingly magical. It doesn't seem like science fiction at the beginning but I promise it is.
Again, there's far too many characters, so I'll try to make it easy to keep track of them. Some personalities differ from those in Rebel, and some are very similar, but it shouldn't feel like you're reading the same fanfiction again if you've already read Rebel or want to check it out. I just wanted to try some fantasy-type end-of-the-world stuff. Love interests are different and very few, if any (no Rovee and no Trisken, sorry). I decided not to use Phantom because he belongs in Rebel. That's where his heart lies, so that's where he'll stay.
Hopefully, this one will be a lot shorter, because the last one got really, really long.
I'm kind of a predictable writer (especially because people predict things and I'm like THAT'S BRILLIANT so I use it), but hopefully it won't be boring. Feel free to comment all over the place. Don't forget to vote! :) This story has been entered into the Wattys; wish me luck!
Also, this one's way more violent, although I'm still trying to keep it appropriate for most readers. *update* I think I failed .... sorry.
I think that's it, enjoy!
