Kyler's Secret

- The Next Day (Sunday)-

I've been trying to text ky all morning and last night but he hasn't been answering my calls.

He's been acting weird since yesterday at the mall.

I'm going to go see him today and see what's up.

He has never acted like this before.

I still haven't opened Jace's text message yet.

I hop in the shower.

It's 12:34.

I get dress.

It's 12:58

I grab my keys and walk downstairs.

I aim straight for the door.

"Baylor!" I hear my dad yell from the kitchen.

"Yea?" I said in a kind of annoyed tone.

"Come in here please."

I walk into the kitchen and he's sitting at the table with his reading glasses on and a newspaper in his hand.

"Sit." He says.

I sit down at a table across from him.

"Wassup Dad?" I said as if I actually gave a flying fuck about whatever he was about to say.

I just wanted to go see Kyler.

"Tomorrow night I'm having my colleague and his family over for dinner."

Aw shit. I say in my head.

I hated when he had to invite his colleagues over and I hated going over there house even more.

Basically I hated all his colleague .

"Alright." I say waiting for him to add a butt as to why we had to actually sit down and talk about it when usually he'd just say "We're having guest over. Get dress.".

"Alright......Are you seeing anyone?"

I instantly got nervous.

And automatically thought of Jace and remembered that I didn't open his texts.

I don't know why but Jace is the first person to come to mind.

I mean I've been thinking about him all day but I don't know.

"Baylor!?" My dad said getting frustrated at the thought of me ignoring him.

"Uh umm yea...yea I do." I said in a hurry without even thinking.

"Great!" My dad said sounding surprisingly happy. "Who is it?"

"Ummm I uhhhhh....it's a surprise." I said sounding very nervous.

"A surprise?" Dad asked.

"Uh yea I-I wanted to surprise you. That's why I haven't told you."

"Oh ok umm do you think she would want to come to dinner tomorrow. Because I want you to have a date."

"Alright sounds good." I give a nervous smile.

"Great. That's all." Dad dismisses me.

Crap.

What did I just do.

Ugh I'll worry about it later, I gotta go see ky.

-I finally get in my car and start driving to Kyler's house. I get a phone call.-

"Hello.?" I said as I answered the phone.

"Hayyyyy." My friend troye answered.

"Sivan!!!! How the hell are ya?" I said.
