"Jinyoung invited me to watch a movie with him tomorrow," Yiyang informed him. "Should I go?"

Guanlin choked a little on his drink before reply, "Tomorrow? What time?"

"Here." Yiyang passed him her phone to allow him to read the message between her and Jinyoung.

"So, should I go?" Yiyang asked as she rested her head on Guanlin's lap while staring at him.

"Why do you need to ask me? It's not my choice." Guanlin returned Yiyang her phone.

"I don't know." Yiyang shrugged and placed her phone on the coffee table, without moving her body. "Do you want me to?"

"I don't mind if you want to go. It's your date, not mine." Guanlin emphasised the "your date" part.

"Do you want to come?" Yiyang offered.

"And be a third-wheeler? No thanks."

"Invite Somi, then," Yiyang suggested. "Then we'll both have dates."

"No."

"So, you don't want me to go?" Yiyang asked.

"I didn't say that! I just said that I didn't want to go Somi," Guanlin explained himself.

"So, you do want to go?" A grin formed on Yiyang's face.

"No. I don't."

"So-"

"Jie. Just go, alright?" Guanlin interrupted her. "Just go on your date with Jinyoung. I'll be here."

Yiyang sighs lightly as a calm smile appears on her face. She gently touched Guanlin's cheeks. "I'll try to be back as early as possible. Alright?"

Guanlin nodded his head in approval.

He was upset that Yiyang was going to spend time with another boy, but at least she asked him first. He felt important.
