Leia has just moved to LA and the twins are one of the first people she meets. Leia has many strange encounters after moving in which she can't really explain what's happening to her, but she tries to keep living her life as normal.

"The book says there is a supernatural council in every major city," Ethan said while flipping through the pages from the backseat of the car, "so when we get back to LA we can ask them what to do."
Everyone nodded.
"Guys I feel so weird now. Our families are... gone. Now we only have each other." I sighed, looking down at my lap.
"Yeah, we know how you're feeling, Leia." Grayson sighed, not looking away from the road.
We finally arrived to the council somewhere around 4:30pm. The actual building was of course hidden in the woods somewhere and then you had to open the portal. When we walked in I was surprised to find that there really was a whole other magic world I had been totally oblivious to before.
"So, what can I help you with?" The lady at the front desk asked us with a bored look on her face.
"We just discovered our powers and our families were killed by an evil girl named Morgan. We didn't know where else to go." I told her.
"Ahh, you need to go to the newcomer department. It's on the third floor, room 38." She told us.
We all thanked her before heading upstairs. When we got to the room we were told to come in one at a time. Everyone thought I should go first.
I walked into the room and sat in front of a middle aged man's desk.
"Name please."
"Leia Hernandez." I said.
"Okay, and what are your powers?" He asked.
"Psychic abilities and witchcraft."
"That's a nice combo." He smiled before typing that into his computer.
"What's your age and are you solo or in a quad?" He asked.
"I'm sixteen and quad."
"Good now smile to the camera," he paused a second before snapping my picture. "this will be for your magic ID. You can't walk around in the magic world without it."
Once it was done printing he gave it to me and I smiled at it. I felt all official now.
"Alright now first of all, Morgan was just a little spirit we purposely placed into your lives to get you all to activate your powers and start working together as a group. Your parents are dead, but everyone who enters the magic world for the first generation permanently looses their parents."
"So if I have children with powers, my partner and I won't die because they will be the second generation?"
He nodded, "Correct, but only if the person you have kids with is also supernatural. If you have kids with a regular human, the human will die when that kid activates their power. So, I recommend keeping your personal relationships within the magic world. Now, go into that room and there will be a new outfit for you. You need to look more serious."
I thought our outfits were already serious considering our hair changed and so did our clothes once we activated our powers. I guess it happens to everyone.
When I went into the room I smiled at the cool outfit and there was a lady there helping me with the stuff.

"So the clothes and boots are average, but the knife is a magic knife that is special for defending yourself against supernatural enemies. The brown bracelet is just an accessory, but the grey marble looking bracelet is a special iron ring you can throw at demons and defend yourself. The jacket is usually normal, but when you pull the hood up you become invisible to mortals. Then lastly, the necklace. You can store any potion you want inside the tube, but you of course being a witchcraft have to make it on your own or buy one."
"This is so cool." I squealed as I put on the rest of my outfit since I had already put on the shirt and pants while she was explaining.
"Alright, once the rest of your friends are done you guys can go to your new home. This is the address, and remember - it's technically a part of the magic world so don't tell mortals what it actually is."
Then she handed me a folder with all the information.
It felt like I was a new person. I had a whole file about who I was and what my powers do.
I waited in the car for everyone else and when they came back they seemed really happy. I started up the car and started driving to our new location.
"Guys I actually feel good about this. I mean we're officially no longer normal people. We are members of the supernatural-magic community." Jordyn sounded really excited.
"Yeah, very true. What's our new house going to look like though?" Grayson asked.
"Well here it is." I said while pulling up to a really nice looking cabin house.

"Welcome to our new home." I said before parking the car.
It was really nice and we each had our own room. The house even had a magic lair with spell books and different tools to make our own potions. Its where we each would be studying our abilities.
Then, for the first time in a while, I felt like I could actually go to sleep. The past 48 hours had finally came crashing down on me.
"Guys, I'm pretty exhausted." I admitted.
"Me too." Jordyn nodded.
"We should all crash for a bit." I said. "It's been an eventful few days and we need the rest."
Everyone agreed and then we went to our rooms. I sat on my new bed and thought about my parents that I was never going to see again.
I felt myself tear up and my breath hitched. I found myself sobbing into my pillow.
"I'm sorry mom. I'm sorry dad." I sobbed. "I wish this didn't have to happen. I wish it could all be different."
After crying for a while, I stopped and decided it was really time for me to go to sleep. I started a new life today and so I really needed to let go of the past. For now.
