Part 9 :Apple Kiss

I love summer since we can do more outside activities. The heats never bothered me and there a fun festival at nighttime. Unfortunately Fukuro hates everything related to summer. He hates the heat..the outside activities and he really hates the festival. But each time i brought back an apple candy he smiles brightly and thanked me with his wide smile.

"I'm back!"

I flop on the porch and fan my hots faces that are sweating from playing baseball with neighborhoods kids.

"Welcome back..here some cold ice tea.."

Fukuro held out a cold ice tea and i take it while thanking him. He sits down besides me and puts down a plate of red juicy cut watermelon. He gives me a cold towels and i use it to wipes my sweat away.

I gets up to the pipe hose to wash my hand. While i'm at it i drench my back head with the water and i let my head cold a bit.

"Here.."

He held out another fresh towel to me and i don't even notice when he go to get it.

"Are you my butler?" Why are you so nice towards me? "

I peel off my drench white tank top and flop it on the porch. I used the towels to wipes my wet body and rise a brow at him when i feel he watching me.

"What?"

He looks away and snatch a piece of watermelon and start eating it in high speed.

"Are you going to the festival tonight?"

He asked me while i take a piece of watermelon and start eating it.

"Why you asked? Do you want to come too?"

He shakes his head and look down to his half eaten watermelon. He seem sad and i don't know why.

"I start to feel dizzy..i'm going in first and have fun on the festival Tora.."

He walks inside the house and i just watch him leave with confused faces.

Why he hates summer? Subaru too he hates summer..is that why those two become friends? Fukuro must have a weak body against the heat that's is why he hates summer.

That night i wear my dark blue yukata and help Taiga wear his orange golden fish yukata. Fukuro do Usagi hairs into a cute pigtails with a pair of pink bunny hair ties. She looks cute in her blossom pink sakura petals. Hattori already went out with his classmates and brother Kumada have a summer competition with dad accompany him at L.A.. My mother stay home with Fukuro to make some dinner for us when we come back home.

"Be careful and never let go your older brother hand okay?"

My mother tells my younger siblings as i fixes my hairdos and look at Fukuro that was smiling at my younger siblings.

"Are you really sure not wanting to go with them? It will be fun just forget about what happens to you that summer Fukuro you was ten at that time.."

I can hear my mother whisper voices that talking to Fukuro. He just shakes his head and fixes Taiga messy hairs.

What happened to the little ten years old Fukuro on his summer?

"Tora! Let's go or we'll be late for the fireworks display.."

Usagi tugs my hand and i held out my other hand to Taiga as he runs to me with happy faces.

"Two kind of candy for a person and don't wander off too late..be sure to come back after the fireworks display ended and be safe out there!Tora takes care of your them and makes sure to hold tight on their hands go it?"
