“Guys! Have any of you seen my laptop?” Annabeth stumbled on her steps as she lightly jogged to where you and Percy were sitting. “Somebody must’ve taken it, and I couldn’t find it anywhere.”

“No, I haven't seen it,” you shook your head as Percy mirrored your move. “But we could help in searching for it.” you offered, standing up as you helped Percy to his feet. The three of you walked down the meadow and set off to catch the wanted laptop with a large, blue Delta on its lid.

Half of the day flew by, and you, Percy, and Annabeth were still searching for the missing laptop. From asking other demigods about it to searching the whole perimeter of the Camp, you finally came to a rest as you were really tired from the whole ordeal. “Can we pause the treasure hunt for a while, please?” you wheezed, struggling to catch your breath as you lay on the soft grass underneath you.

“Yeah, I can use up some rest.” Percy agreed, letting his body fall heavily next to you with his limbs stretched on either side of his slightly tired body.

“Okay.” Annabeth sighed, plopping herself down and crossing her legs. She frowned lightly as she ran her hand through the tall blades of grass.

“Aw, there’s no need to frown. We’ll eventually gonna find it—” you tried to cheer her up, only to be cut by Percy.

“Guys, look.” He pointed at one of the Stoll brothers who was standing across the field with a rectangular, gray device clutched in his hands. "The laptop."

“Oh, I guess you could say,” you paused, giving Percy a mischievous smile while he impishly smirked at you. “He stoll it.” You snickered along with Percy as Annabeth groaned and stood up from her seat to retrieve her stollen laptop.

“Hey! Give it back!” She fumingly shouted at the unsuspecting twin, getting ready to pluck her dear laptop off his hands.

“AAH!” The poor twin squeaked, running away from his fate. “It wasn’t my doing! It was (Y/N) and Percy who gave it to me!” He confessed as tears dramatically escaped his eyes.

“What?” Annabeth abruptly came to a stop in her tracks when the Stoll twin came back, marching towards her and quickly shoved the piece of electronic in her hands before running away for his dear, precious life.

“Oh, gods! Why’d you tell on us?” You cried playfully, “We just wanted to use the glorious pun!” You snickered as you and Percy took off down the hill, squealing all the way.

Left alone, Annabeth maintained a straight face, lips pursed and eyebrows slightly furrowed as her brain comprehended what had just happened, slowly breaking into a long fit of uncontrollable laughter. Her legs wobbled, unable to support her weight while she laughed even more and more as she had to sit down for a few minutes to regain her composure.

"Seaweed brains are contagious." She noted, snorting at her own remark as she saw your and Percy's bodies from afar still running away.
