Jihyo was a little surprised to see the guy there, at Korea Plush, but it made sense, since it was a place for teens from all schools to hang out at. She could see the rest of the soccer team, and remembered them from all the unnecessary names they called her yesterday. What really surprised her was when he asked her to dance. Now, in the midst of the grinding teenage bodies, she was being spun by him, loving his closeness. Before, when she entered the club, Jihyo felt a bit insecure and exposed since the green tank-top didn't really cover all of her chest, but, next to him, she didn't feel insecure in the least. She felt confident, she felt safe. I wonder why that is?
She remembered when she was little, and felt insecure in her bikini at a playmates pool. Her Suga was with her and acted as her shield, protecting her, telling her that she was pretty, and overactingly glaring at anyone who made a bad comment. She thought him to be her knight then.
"Are you alright?" He asked, concern visible in his tone.
Jihyo snapped out of her memory and shook her head, "Yeah, sorry. I'm fine." She gave him a small smirk, not realizing that he became breathless at the sight. She walked back to the bar, where all her friends were, as he walked to the opposite side to his friends. Although, every once and awhile, he would glance in her direction, knowing that something was up, and making sure that she was ok.
Again, she thought, another memory of Suga, but why? It's always with that guy, when he's around, memories just seem to pop up like dandelions in the spring. Why, though? Oh, Suga, I don't get it! Jihyo's head began to pound.
"I think I'm going to step outside for a bit of fresh air, ok?" She asked the other girls, who could've cared less, but they gave little concerned looks, totally fake, and nodded by saying "ok". None of them offered to go with her, which she counted on.
Once outside, she took in the brisk, cold air that pricked at her body, instantly feeling better. She didn't know why those memories were turning up now, but at the moment that didn't matter. All that mattered was cooling down.
Jihyo didn't see that someone had come after her, and how important that one person was.
"You sure you're okay?" Her little Suga asked.
