Mark couldn't help but think about all the books he had read that took place in the Louvre, all the films that featured it, all the art pieces within, it was just wonderful being there. The bus then turned and went underground into the museum parking, once it stopped everyone jumped off and went into the building where they were given some receptors for the tour within the museum so their museum guide wouldn't have to shout.
Once everyone gathered their Louvre tour guide (which was different from their whole city tour guide) took them up some electric stairs, then through some shops that were in there "I never thought this place could be so huge, it even had a food court, a bookstore and a jewellery" Mark thought as they headed towards the entrance to the museum.
Once inside the whole ancient atmosphere could be felt, the greatness of the past lied before them, all the beauty, the art, the details, the sensibility the ability, it was all displayed for them to admire and to perceive a part of that wonder to take into their hearts forever on. They went through some of the paintings and sculptures, moving from a dazzling room to another, moving through stairs of the wonderful palace then climbing some stairs Mark looked down and noticed a golden circle embedded on the floor and the letters N and S on the sides and between them the word Argos, the moment he saw that golden medal on the floor his mind started working, sharply snapping through the memories at fast speed, that golden embed coin looked extremely familiar, then he remembered the story about the Rose Line that crossed Paris descripted within the book the Da Vinci Code, an wide smile appeared on his face he looked around and could see all the marvelous pieces of art that were kept within the stunning palace, then they kept on moving and went through rooms of statues, paintings, jewels but there was one reason he wanted to be at the Louvre, there was one reason for everyone to want to be at the Louvre, then a few minutes they arrived to a heavily crowded round room where everyone was squishing each other "What's going on here?" Mark thought. Mireya tapped his shoulder and pointed to a wall in the middle of the room, one of the most famous icons of painted art, one of the reasons thousands of people came to the Louvre appeared at the end of the pointing that Mireya was making far away, as she simply said: "There you go. Mona Lisa."
Surrounded by a sea of tourists the Leonardo Da Vinci's painting barely rose from within them, Mark held his sister's hand and dive into the crowd until he arrived to a red cord he lifted his head and before him elegantly was displayed La Gioconda.
He made some room to pose for the picture after a couple shots the brothers switched places and Mireya made some room in the crowd for the shot, Mark aimed and took a few pictures then they were pushed out of the room into the next hall.
"Well we did caught up a shot" Mireya told him
"Yeah" said Mark with a smile, following up the script he thought "What was up next here in the Louvre?" there was a riddle on the Mona Lisa and then "The Madonna of the Rocks" then without a word he turned around and looked at the sign of directions finding the paint he was looking for and headed that way, moving away from the group.
"Mark!" Mireya shouted, turning on her hells and heading behind him "what the hell is he doing?" she thought as she went behind him against the flow of the tourists. Mark didn't answer and just headed forward following the directions.
"It's the same floor so it has to be here, somewhere ... close by" He said apparently talking to himself instead of Mireya.
"The same floor? You've never been to the Louvre before!" Mireya snapped as she followed him "Wait a minute, did you just quoted the Da Vinci Code on me?" Mark kept walking at a fast speed without replying then he suddenly stopped in front of a note and shortly after he stopped Mireya caught up to him "What's up with you?"
