Mireya let out a gasp and turned to look at Mark, he looked at her and said "We're going direction 'Gallieni'" and they both went into the tunnels of the subway station, moving through the signs that pointed the way to the transfer platform. They crossed through the underground maze running quickly and they arrived to a point where there was a wall facing them, on the wall there were two signs with an arrow in each direction, to the left 'Point de Levallois', to the right 'Gallieni'.

Mark saw Mireya running down fast in the direction of Gallieni, he ran behind her and quickly she was out of sight, his legs ached as well as his arms then he heard "Mark!" it was Mireya calling "Hurry!" her voice shouted again. He pulled himself together and ran as fast as he could to arrive to the platform and see Mireya with a leg inside the subway car and the other one in the platform, he went in with her. The space inside was practically empty, they both fell heavily down on two seats panting, exhausted. He looked at her and smiled.

They were drifting off passing over stations. Chances were none but they had made it, in the end, they did it, they were on their way home, however the whole chase had been exhausting and they were at the edge of falling asleep in the subway when suddenly it stopped and before their eyes a huge sign read 'Gallieni'.

They practically stumbled out of the subway and looked up at the big sign that showed the name of the so waited and precious destination they were on. Mark stood up and held out the camera to Mireya asking for a photograph. Once both of them took their pictures with the sign of victory they walked out of the subway station and into the cold night of Paris, the city was now foggy and the supermarket was closed and dark, the only thing that seemed to have any light at all were the McDonalds neon sign, but the restaurant was also closed and dark. They walked out, more like they stretched their legs through the lonely street that was poorly illuminated with public lights, and went slowly towards their hotel.

Quietly they went up to their room and went into bed, kicked their shoes off and went into a deep sleep.

The day had been busy and so had been the night. Rest was what they longed for and a better luck the next day.

A calm day that was according to schedule. That is what they had in their mind and hoped for in their hearts when the two siblings when to sleep, they purely wished for a calm day. That request was going to be declined.
