Kendall followed after Derek down a hall and stopped behind him as he knocked on a door that had the word Nursery in big letters on it. When the light blue door opened, Derek looked at Kendall and motioned to be quiet but go on in. When she walked it in, the rooms were a nice baby blue and several windows with sunlight shining in them lightly.

There were three women in there, all of them roughly in their 20's, and two of them were laying two toddlers down in cribs separate cribs, a boy and a girl. The other woman was cradling and rocking a sleeping newborn. Derek smiled to himself and whispered to Kendall, smiling at the young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes walking to him with the newborn,

"This is where the younger wolf children of the pack sleep and play. We only have three young ones right now."

The blonde carrying the baby nodded to Kendall slightly and said

" Hello my dear, you must be Kendall."

Kendall nodded with a smile and answered, kind of shyly,

"Yes ma'am I am."

The blonde woman laughed slightly and said, still rocking the baby in her arms,

"No need to call me ma'am. My name is Iris. I'm Derek's mate, and this is our son, Tyrant."

Derek smiled with a kind of smile that only a father could have as he looked at his son, little blond hairs sticking out of his little grey beanie. The little baby yawned and made a small smile, almost asleep. Derek looked at Kendall and said

"Tyrant is my first child after trying many times. Him and Iris both almost lost their lives when he was born because he was premature and Iris lost a lot of blood."

Derek looked at Iris, who had a pleasing smile as she looked at her baby and carefully took her from his arms. While Iris placed the baby in the crib, the two other women walked over. One was a short with black curly hair and green eyes with a very bright blue around the pupil of her eyes. Her eyes really stood out from her almond colored skin and her dark hair.

The other woman was taller than Kendall and had very dark skin and had nice hazel eyes. Her hair was straight and black and as she smiled, her two top canines were wolf fangs. The darker skinned lady said, an African accent in her voice,

"Hello there. My name is Zecora. I have heard of you very much. The pack thinks you are a sign of hope that we can get rid of the demons."

The other woman smiled and nodded. Kendall smiled slightly, not realizing how much the whole pack knew about her til now.

"I am Willow. I am one of the wolves that is a caretaker, like Zecora, and the twins are mine. The little boy is Anthony and the little girl is Elizabeth."

Derek looked at the she wolfs and said

"I'm sorry to make this short but we have a lot of other pack members to meet and a lot of demonology to go over with her."

Rex, who had been standing quiet waved bye to the three and walked out with Kendall and Derek. Kendall took one last glimpse of the room with a smile as she saw Iris kiss her little boy in his crib.

*********

Kendall looked around the huge room, the concrete floor and walls a kind of pale grey color, and saw that there were many things that someone would use for practicing. Two huge male wolves, the grey one she saw with Cara and Rex and a nice tan one with a black stripe down his back, fighting in an enclosed area with chain link fence around them. They were silenced with a single yip from Derek.

They stopped instantly and turned back into humans. The grey wolf, now a fifteen year old brunette with pale skin and brown eyes, made a slight smile and said

"Hey its that girl I was talking about, Hunter!"

Hunter?, Kendall thought to herself. She looked at the guy who was the tan wolf and it was in fact the same Hunter she had met before. He made a slight laugh and said

"What a small world after all."

The fifteen year old said, hyper and smiling widely,

"I'm Tucker. This is my older brother, Hunter."

Kendall smiled to both of them and gave them a slight wave.

This is awkward..., She thought to herself.
