Chapter 14

Sharna's POV
Today I'm going shopping with Peta. I don't know if I have plan on buying too much, because I know I won't feel like hauling it home.
"Babe!" Peta yells as I get out of my car. We decided to meet at her place.
"P!" I yell, running up the steps to her house. We hug.
"How are you?" She asks.
"Ive been tired, but great. How are you is the real question."
"Same. I'm tired, and it's not because I've been in tour for like a month."
"I'm sorry. Aren't you just ready for him to be here?"
"You have no idea."
"Okay," I laugh, "where are we going first?"
"Babies R Us I need stuff, then we can go shopping shopping."
"Oh so it's a shopping day for you," I giggle again.
"Oh you know it's not," she playfully slaps my arm.
"True."
"Yeah, and I was thinking, what if we went and got our nails done? I've been kinda wanting to do that and I can't reach mine so."
"Sounds fun."
First, we get to Babies R Us, where Peta buys stuffed animals.
"You forgot to buy stuff animals?"
"It's been a scattered few weeks."
Then, we go to a few boutiques to buy some clothes.
"I should probably buy something for the New Years Party," I announce.
"You should, I'll help."
"Okay."
"What are you looking for?"
"I have no idea."
"Okay, let me picture something in my mind."
"Have fun, these shoes are killing me," I say, going to sit in a bench. She comes to sit by me.
"Do you know what anyone else is wearing? I need to know my boundaries." I chuckle.
"Linds is wearing a pastel pink halter dress with a round skirt."
"Okay..."
"Why do you need to picture the dress? Can't we just go shopping?"
"No, babe, I need an image."
"Whatever..."
"Oh my gosh, I've got it."
"What is it?"
"You're not allowed to know."
"Oh my."
"No I know the perfect place though."
"Alright."
We drive to some shop that I don't really pay attention to, and we head in. We wander for a bit, before Peta calls me over.
"I've got the perfect dress, Shar!"
"Coming, mother!"
"I don't know if that was a reference to my uterus or my forcing you to buy clothes, but thanks."
"Both," I say as I finally find her. She's found a white Lacey dress with flowers on it. (Picture at the end).
"Yeah, that's the best one so far, I'll try it on."
"That's all I get?"
"Calm down, Pete, it's not like it's my wedding dress," I giggle.
"It could be!" She shouts as I make my way to the back of the store. I try it on, and it fits really well. I come out to show Peta.
"Oh my gosh I LOVE it!"
"Yep, you could open a wedding dress shop, to fit brides."
"I totally could."
We head back to the register, and pay for the dress. They don't have many shoes or clutches/purses here, so we get those somewhere else. I have in mind what I want to go with this dress this time.
"Sharna, come here, is this what you wanted?" Asks Peta, showing me a pair of white flats with gold tips.
"Yes! Those are perfect," I say, grabbing them from her.
"Okay so do you want a clutch or a purse?"
"Well just a small purse I guess. All I will have is my money and my phone."
"Okay."
"Yeah."
"What color?"
"Gold."
"Oh, I already saw the perfect one!" She announces. Peta leads me over to the purse section. It's a small purse, and it's white with gold designs.
"Okay," I say.
She grabs it off the shelf. We head up front to pay, again. This time we head to the nail salon.
"Are you going to paint your nails to match your dress?"
"Might as well."
I tell the lady I want white nails with pink flowers. On my toes, I get lavander. You won't be able to see my toenails, because of the flats. While they're doing my pedicure, I get on my phone. Scrolling through my cast members Instagram's, I see an interesting picture.
"P..."
"Yes?"
"Go to Emma's Instagram."
"Okay... Now what?"
"Look at the most recent picture."
"What about it?"
"Look in the background."
"Jenna and Val..?" She questions.
"Are they really close or am I imagining things?"
"They're very close, hon. Don't worry, tough. I'm sure it's nothing."
"Okay, thanks."
We get done and waddle back to the car in those stupid foam flip-flops the give you. We jam out to music on the way back to Peta's house. We also change back into our normal shoes, which is nice. I bid by goodbyes to Maks and her, and heard back to the hotel that we're staying in until the second. A lot of people were out and about. Most the girls, I assume, were shopping. I head over to Val, who's sitting by Jenna. Have they been hanging out a lot? It's probably just my imagination.
