Chrissy's P.O.V.
Chrissy ran into her bedroom and slowly slid down against the door. Finally giving in to the tears that were threatening to burst out. Her heart ached but she knew that she had made the right decision. She knew that she would do anything to make sure he is okay.
Clutching her pillow from the bed she pressed her face in the pillow to soften her cries. This was the second time she ever cried and she knew that it all for him and she didn't complain.
She loves him. And she knew what did it cost her.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket and she took it out to see twelve missed calls from Harper and Abby.
It had been a while since she met these hyperactive girls she called her best friend and she was grateful for them. The girls had no clue why she wasn't in school for the last three days. They had no idea about the boy she met on the train and fell in love with.
For some reason whenever Chrissy wanted to tell them, there was something that held her back. Don't get it wrong, she trusts the girls but she also craved the secrecy and mystery her relationship with him provided her.
She quickly sent them a text telling them that she was down with the flu and will be back soon and will explain everything to them.
Their replies were instant. While Harper seemed relieved that there was finally some correspondence from Chrissy's side and wished her well, Abby on the other hand was not convinced with her short text.
After shouting at Chrissy for being a disgrace to the twenty-first century by not understand the use of her mobile phone and many other things which included being a clutz, reckless person, and complete disregard for her friends, she sent her a voice message.
"You lady, have a lot of explaining to do! I know that you're not down with the flu because for that you have to be at home ALWAYS. However, whenever I called your mother she would either say that you are out or that you are sleeping which isn't much because usually, you are out. Do you know what this means?! You are busted! I called out your lie! You are lucky that I can't call you right now because I'm at the vet but this message is a forewarning to the doom that is coming your way. Be ready to face the wrath of Abby Gale Jameson!"
For some reason, this made her burst out laughing. Abby was always the one for dramatics. She loved to spice up her life with drama and entertainment. She knew that the girl meant nothing about what she said. It was always like that. Her way of showing concern has always been this...unique. She would not comfort you when you are sad, she will make fun of you and tease you- making sure that she does not overdo it- and will finally be able to do a job no concerned party would have done; make Chrissy laugh.
While Abby was this hyper-active dramatics lover, Harper's whole world circled around food. You give the girl food and she is the happiest person alive. Despite eating so much, she never gained a pound. This was the reason most girls envied Harper. While they basically starved themselves to maintain their figure, Harper would load tons of food in her mouth and stay fit.
While Abby didn't give a damn about her figure, she was a little bit insecure although she never showed it.
Among the three, Harper was the most social one and Abby and Chrissy would just follow her leads in a crowd.
Chrissy looked at her phone and saw that it had barely any charge and instantly hooked it up for charging. She didn't use her phone for the past three days, making calls from Adam's phone whenever needed. She lay back on her bed looked at the ceiling she and her father had painted three years ago. Her father was an absolutely wonderful painter and it showed in his work because the ceiling looked exactly like the infamous ceiling of Hogwarts Great Hall.
Chrissy closed her eyes and let out a sigh when she remembered the day she told Samuel about the ceiling and how much he wanted to see it. Her heart clenched at how she will not be able to show him now.
So many things had happened since morning.
"I'm sorry I'm bringing this too late in the conversation...but do I know you?"
This sentence kept repeating in her mind along with many others.
"He has temporary amnesia. He doesn't remember about the recent few months because of the brain trauma he suffered. There are chances that he might get those memories back and chances that he might not."
"Chrissy...I don't know how to say this to you...but we think that you being near him triggers some memories and he can't take it right now..."
"Are you sure about what you doing, darling? You don't have to do this..."
"He had a panic attack because he stressed himself..."
"Honey...we are moving again. But don't worry it's near your school so you won't have to travel so long."
"I-I am s-sorry"
"It's a goodbye, Sam"
Afterall love is never easy and you know what some say, "You love someone enough to let them go"

The End.
YES. I had planned this book to end right here and it is. However, Chrissy and Samuel's story does not end here. I plan on a sequel and it will be out soon.
You won't believe me but I wrote this chapter in the weirdest place ever.
Anyways, Thank you for reading up till here. I know it ends on a very abrupt note and an even more confusing ending but the fifteen-year-old me wanted to end it here so that's what I will do.
The sequel will not be a separate book but will be continued in this one itself so if you like the story so far, please look forward to the rest of it too.
Thank you!
