Mama said there is nothing
Living behind our walls
But I always ask her, "then what at night,
Cries and screams and bawls?"My mother never answered me,
So I ventured forth
Out into the night, the Darkness,
To find a demon sortOr perhaps not a demon, I thought
Perhaps just a little girl
One lost and scared, and cold and wet,
Someone who's lost faith in the worldI heard shouts and screams as I neared that wall,
The wall by my parents' room
I heard those sobs, those cries for help,
And I heard a CRASH and a BOOMLoud footsteps thumped angry steps,
And my father opened the door
He glared at me, and continued to walk,
Slamming my parent's doorThe sobbing continued, loud and in pain,
Fall down dry and wet tears
But there was something different about them this time-
They were clouded with fearMy mother never told me what lies beyond the wall,
But that was far too alright
For when I ventured forth to peer beyond-
I learned too much that night❤️Author's Note❤️- #noabuse
