☺Anime Critique☻
Katanagatari is a relatively new anime that I just found. It's full of intense battle scenes, traveling, and a hint of romance. Each episode is a maximum of close to 60 minutes, nearly an hour. The whole anime only contains only 13 episodes, not very long but the containment of all the action is compounded in the simple one season anime.
The story in all is extremely interesting and entertaining to watch, the fighting scenes intense as it progresses. Although the drawings seem crude and a lot different then what one would be used to, but after an episode of two you become accustomed to it.
The anime starts off some time during late spring early summer. The whole story line is based off of 12 legendary blades and two peoples journey on finding them. The girl tactician, and the human blade who uses his body as a weapon.
Although the anime is action packed and has hints of romance in it the ending is very disappointing in my eyes. I was actually hoping there would be a season two or something to make up for it but there isn't. Not to say that it sucks or anything just that the ending didn't go how I was hoping it to be. It wasn't a happy ending but a sad tragic one. And I'm not getting into too much detail on how it ends because that would just ruin the whole things for those of you who plan to watch it. If I could I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars. It might have been a 5 if it wasn't for the ending though. So check it out yourselves!
