Every day, at the same time of day, he sat on a bench on the beach. They had put it there years and years before. And he was there when it was put in. He has come to the same bench every day for years, all because of the peace, quiet, and beautiful view. But tonight was a different story. As Anthony came to his usual rest and relaxation spot, he was quickly, but only slightly annoyed by a party going on down the beach. It wasn't too loud, but loud enough for him to hear it. Anthony sat down, trying his best to relax, but was very annoyed within about fifteen minutes of sitting there.
"Grrrr, stupid fucks. Causing this much noise for no damn reason?! Really?!" He got up and started his walk over to the house throwing the party.
"Eveline this is insane!" Soph tried to get Eveline's attention but only got Eveline trying to get her to dance. Soph tried to stay close to her friend as people bounced and danced around her. Someone had brought alcohol so a few of the party goers were a bit out of it. Some, more then others. A guy from Soph's coffee job walked up to her. He was obviously buzzed.
"Hey Soph. Long time no see huh." He chuckled and got closer.
"Uh, yeah. Can um, we talked later? When you're sober." She said slightly annoyed at him.
"Oh come on I'm fine." He suddenly grabs her hand and tries to kiss her but Soph slaps him. The smack is heard over the music and a red mark is left on his face.
"Don't. Do that." Soph said upset. Suddenly someone grabs her hand from behind her and yanks her to the front door. When she turns to see who it is after being able to stand she see's it's the guy she bumped into. Anthony stands there looking at her.
"You don't belong in a place like this." Soph looks up at him confused then suddenly Anthony yells at the top of his lungs. "HEY! SHUT THE FUCK UP ALL OF YOU!" The music stops and everyone stares at Anthony. Soph, feeling all the eyes pointing in her direction, suddenly hides behind Anthony.
"Who do you thin-" The guy who owned the place was cut off by Anthony as he walked over. He was obviously the "well known, pretty boy, jock" that EVERY girl fell for. Anthony on the other hand, did not care at all.
"I don't give a shit who you are. I don't give a shit what you think you own. I don't give a shit if you're pissed at me. This party is annoying. Shut it down." The glare in Anthony's eyes only grew more annoyed as Derek began to talk back.
"This is my house. I can do whatever the fuck I want asshole! Who do you think you are huh? Some tough guy?!" Anthony simply stepped forward and stood straight against the muscular Derek. Anthony smelled alcohol on his breath from how close he was.
"Try me." And as Anthony said it Derek went to swing at him. Anthony without flinching caught his fist mid flight. "You're really gonna regret that." Suddenly Anthony punches Derek hard in the sternum. Derek falls to the ground in pain and trying to breath. Anthony stands tall and looks around. "Now. Party's. Over." Everyone stared at him and he turned looking down at Soph. "Come on."
"What?" As she questions him Anthony grabs her hand and walks out the front door with her.
