Nicholas's POV

"Mark what's is this for!" I yelled at him, "we trusted you!"

He looked at me and smiled a mischievous smile. "that was your first mistake Nicholas, you are so gullible because you made our world" he said to me. Cameron and Lillith looked at me confused by what he had said, I just simply stared at him.

I didn't know what to do, but the rage I felt from the betrayal filled my head, clouding my judgement. I tried to keep my cool, but he was able to tell "are you having trouble keeping yourself calm? Even if you were to get angry, you would easily be put down by us"

He was right. I couldn't do anything if I got mad, I'd only make my situation worse, but it was the only thing I could think about. I wanted to hurt them for what they did, and we'd probably die because of what they did with the energy and all. I looked at the three, and I felt nothing but the adrenaline pumping into my veins. My body was telling me to either run or fight, and I saw nowhere to run. So I decided to charged at Mark, but I was quickly sent flying by Caira elbowing me. I coughed and looked at him, trying to get up. He had a smirk on his face, and I really wanted to punch it off. I finally got up, but then Caira had punched me hard in the gut, which had put me on my knees. I coughed hard and looked at her, but she turned away. She seemed reluctant to do what she was doing but also didn't have a choice. I was hit with confusion, which was pissing me off, so I then turned to Mark, who was aiming an arrow at Cameron.

During this whole time, I couldn't hear Cameron or Lillith screaming, it seemed like they were screaming at the three while concerned about me. I just wanted to help them, but I had no idea how. "How?" echoed repeatedly in my head as I also tried to think up an answer. "I'm just weak!" I screamed in my head as I punched the floor, but then I collapsed forward, still thinking about an answer. I heard Lillith and Cameron scream my name, but it was so faint I almost didn't pay attention to it. After that, everything went black for a second. There was a faint silence, then a voice started whispering in my head. It was my voice, a much more evil and dark version of my voice. "Just go at them, with no hesitation and no mercy. Look at your friends, yourself. Do you really think the others would be doing this if they truly cared about you and your friends?" my voice said. It made sense to me, all I had to do is get rid of them. I didn't think about how, I just knew I had to.

My eyes shot open as I slowly got up, my hands trembling. I stared at my trembling hands, and felt more and more anger grow in me. I could feel every growing thump in my chest, my heart quickly picking up speed. I clenched my fist and lifted my head up, screaming angrily. After that, everything was black again.
