Harriet's POV
I open my eyes. Darn it, it was a dream! Me and Mathias ran away to Scotland, never to be found again. Maybe one day...
"WAKE UP GIRLS!"
Ugh, Nurse Macclesfield always has to make us wake up feeling as annoyed as possible, but there's nothing we can do about it.
As we get dressed, i turn to Hetty,
"Hetty, do you think me and Mathias could really run away from here?"
"Of course, it's been done before, hasn't it?"
"Yes, I suppose."
All of us girls line up to go and get breakfast, with Nurse Winterson leading the way.
This is one of the few times the girls and boys see eachother, although we are forbidden to talk to one another, but that doesn't mean we can't smile and use hand gestures to communicate!
I sit opposite to Mathias and use our special signal which we use to say that we should meet at the tower. It's kind of like a clenched fist then bursting to an open one.
Anyway, we always meet at the tower at exactly midnight. I can't wait! For I have a plan...
