I was so confused on why Jackson Bell was walking straight towards me chanting "Mate" my inner feelings felt nothing for him not even respect but he kept walking towards me, I hid behind Danny as he stood in front of me which made me happy he looked at Jackson up and down and Growled as a warning "Jackson she's mine.......and mine only come any closer an I'll rip you bit by bit" Jackson smiled and laughed "oh Alpha can't you share" he said only to mess with danny but he continued "you can't be around my mate for long plus me an her have class together so I'll see her soon" Jackson winked at me and I snapped "I FEEL NOTHING TOWARDS YOU at all you disgust me I think you just matured so your throwing your scent around .....don't go placing claim where it shouldn't be mates connect an I hate you...like a lot and also the scent you smell is Danny's Cologne on my skin so back off...maybe your Mate is a dude" Jackson looked to the ground in embarrassment and I looked up at Danny smiling at the fact that only me and him knew he had me in all his classes, I was happy because I thought I was going to be under him all day, I kissed his lips then entered the class room.
Danny'sP.O.V ____________________________________ My father said to me he'd given us Test to prove our loyalty to one another and to prove how strong we are for each other and I knew that when Jackson Bell came towards us Chanting Mate at Dakota it was a test to see how jealous I'd get, and it almost got me but gladly I remained cool and kept my chill I felt as Dakota rushed herself behind me keeping close to my back holding my shirt she passed and so did I but I passed for standing my ground she passed for speaking her true feelings and nature I knew that this meant we had two more test that'll prove to my father that not only are me an her compatible but we are also ready for the festival.
Dakota kissed my lips ad we entered the classroom I smiled an took my seat next to her but the teacher insisted I sat two seats behind her I knew yet again this was a test an I felt like I was going to fail but I can't not when we had already Gained one success, but sitting two seats behind her wasn't just for one class it was for all of them even lunch I wasn't allowed to be near her which was extremely difficult since she's my mate but I endured it until finally after school she ran to my car an hugged me for a long time and I didn't let go of her, I knew we passed but it hurt being that far away from her we got in the car happy since we both had passed the first two we drove back to the house but on arriving a couple miles close to the house a car accident happened ahead and the second I stopped my car and got out an knew this was a test for Dakota and her only.
I looked over at her rushing out of the car and towards the accident she panicked for a second but quickly collected her nerves she breathed in and closed her eyes for another second but when she opened them looked at me and her eyes were Scarlet Red and the expression on her face was calm but focused she acted quickly pulling everyone out of the car and doing CPR to those who weren't breathing after she called for 9-1-1 and they all came rushing to the scene the woman who I knew was acting looked up at Dakota and sobbed "my baby they took my baby" I thought that saving these humans was the end but no now she has to do a rescue mission also and surely enough Dakota picked up a baby blanket an started to follow the scent and I followed behind her keeping my distance.
She followed the scent to an abandoned warehouse and inside we heard a baby crying Dakota demanded that I stay outside she kissed my head and spoke "this could be a trap but I want you to carry the baby to safety" and when she got inside I heard guns fire but when I reached for the door I wouldn't open, I got extremely worried and tried to keep my composure I started breathing heavily and pacing back and forth when finally she busted the door down covered in blood and holding a baby, she nearly fainted I caught her an the baby and carried them both back to the car I was happy with my little mate she finished her tasks without my help, I dropped the baby off with its mother and drove home my phone started to ring and I picked up and answered to a very happy voice "My Son you and your mate are powerful together you've passed I'm going to place Tina back under your guards care congratulations" I smiled an sighed out relived.
We finally reached the house and I carried Dakota inside an I whispered into her ear "where do you wanna sleep" she partially opened her eyes an whispered back "it doesn't matter as long as I'm with you" she kept smiling and so I placed her in my room and stripped down to my shorts and climbed in next to her, she climbed out went to the bathroom and came out wearing shorts and a tank top I smiled as she nestled in next to me placing her head on my chest an she just slept instantly, but I couldn't I was way too curious as to what happened when the door locked and the guns shots started to blaze.
Did Dakota unlock apart of herself I needed to know because when she came out she had no blood but bullet holes in the back of her shirt, which pissed me off they didn't need to physically put holes in her beautiful shirt I lightly growled at the thought of them trying to harm my kota and she shifted herself to the point she was laying on top of me, all I could do was get quiet she kept pushing herself closer to my heart and all I could do was smile, I was so lucky to have her as a mate and I knew that this meant I had to protect her always.
We arrived in our classroom and danny did something weird he sat two seats away from me, it made me whimper quietly I didn't want him to be that far but I also didn't want to seem dependent on him so I endured it and just when I thought it'd get better it got worst he even sat at a whole other table at lunch even though I was comforted by Abby and Nancy but it wasn't the same it wasn't fair they had their mates an I didn't have mine, but finally after school it was just me and danny I was so happy I launched at him and hugged him for a long time we finally stopped hugging and got into the car, but on the way home we were stopped by am accident ahead I quickly got out of the car an rushed towards them an I felt myself start to panic but another part of me was urging to take over.
I calmed myself and breathed and what I saw was the eyes of fiery red everything was clear I reacted with so much focus and I got them out of the car and Danny called called 9-1-1 the lady I had pulled looked up at me with pain in her eyes an she spoke "my baby they took my baby" I grabbed the baby blanket from out of the car and started to sniff it and finally I caught the scent and I reacted to it the only way I could, I end up following the scent to a warehouse and when I got in I looked at danny and spoke "this could be a trap but I want you to carry the baby to safety" I went in and the first thing that startled me was the sound of gunfire which took me by surprise, then from the top floor another shot was fired I could feel myself becoming pissed and that strange feeling came over me again I couldn't stop myself I felt it over come me I launched myself to the top floor which was scary since I was at The bottom floor, I lashed out on him and when I looked at my hands it was a claw with blood dripping from it I looked at the floor at the stain I made

I didn't like the mess I made and neither did the other side of me but we couldn't focus on our problem the baby was still in here, I killed a lot of people getting to the baby but finally after what felt like an hour I busted put the door to see danny waiting for me I had the baby in my hand an nearly collapsed but I was caught by danny, I closed my eyes and laid back next thing I know danny asks me "where do you wanna sleep" I couldn't really open my eyes but I partially opened them and responded "it doesn't matter as long as I'm with you" I went to sleep in the arms of my mate whom I was very certain was probably curious on everything that had happened, but I wasn't sure on how to explain to him what exactly happened when the door closed and I basically flew from the bottom to the top floor. ____________________________________ *Sorrythistookmeawhile *hopeyouguysenjoy *EDITED
