Dakota's P.O.V _____________________________________ I hugged my family so hard Danny had given me the best birthday gift ever as I was making my way to bear hug Julie she walked straight to Danny, which was strange to me but I thought nothing of it I was so happy to see my parents my mom took me to the side and she talked about the first time she turned Eighteen on her pack she was given a crown that enhanced her scent to find a mate I looked at her an she smiled as we both know Danny is the only one for me, after awhile I sat back next to my mate when he stood up and left I looked around the room to find Julie was missing also, they both returned and Julie completely yet again ignored me I was feeling a little hurt by her actions like I didn't matter to her and I wasn't important she went up to dad an immediately both of them left.
I sighed out and in the blink of a eye Theodor had made his way to the other side of me, he sat in the spot I was saving for Julie when thanks to the goddess he got a phone call and left I looked up at our guest and I was very pleased with all that I've accomplished these last couple of months, I nestled into Danny's neck and he embraced me kissing my forehead he then stood up and shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUNA" which was followed by the entire pack shouting some even howled to show there gratitude to me I felt very special ~Hours Later~ I found myself sitting on the bench swing when I felt it a pain in my chest someone was in trouble the pain started to become stronger I found it harder to breath my wolf was about to explode out of my chest and reveal her true colors, that's when a cry came from the front of the building and everyone rushed outside I found myself behind a crowd of people standing over something, I could smell the blood it was so strong as I moved people out of my way I found my mother on her knees crying over my father's motionless body.
My world became dark the agonizing pain settled inside my chest I couldn't hear the words I could no longer see colors all there was, was darkness when I came to I had my hands around Theodor's neck tears rolling off my face I growled "WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FATHER..........AND WHERE IS MY SISTER" I growled some more I couldn't control my wolf blood was all we wanted to see him spue out of his body I grew impatient within seconds I made a hole in the wall close to his face he shook with fear everyone behind me, I could feel there eyes glow I felt the support and backup they had but I could get sucked I that mushy shit he stared at me saying nothing when finally I couldn't hold it, I heard something pop and it was followed by a breaking noise I felt pain on my entire body but it wasn't what I expected the pain became unbearable I ended up dropping Theo and upon his attempt to escape, my pack barricaded him to a corner of the room all standing there waiting I on the other hand was in agonizing pain feeling my blood boil up and under the skin I could feel this itchy like material forming I started to scratch and to my terrifying surprise my skin started to peel off as I scratched I started to cry feeling the ripping off my flesh but under my skin lay thick fur, I wanted to scream out but my voice wasnt obeying me it was like i couldn't force a sound that's when I felt it the oxygen leave my lungs my throat closed for a second the began to expand my ribs broke through my skin and my spine cracked and twisted through my pants out from my butt I felt something it was gooey and fluffy it had come to my conclusion it was a tail.
As my transformation continued my face started to bleed and it was like I was swallowed by the darkness I kept my eyes closed till the cracking and snapping and pain ended and as I looked at my hands they weren't human buhh they were covered in fur I hadn't realized I wasn't even human anymore till I spoke and it was covered by a bark, I almost started to freak out till I heard Theodor yelling "let me out please" I turned my attention to him but not before catching a glimpse of my reflection in one of the mirrors
