Her Eyes Told Me There's A Secret.

Gaara's P.O.V

As I turn to look to the left a face buries into my chest. Two hands on her face. It was most defiantly Suzka. Her body trembled in my arms, her hands trembled on my chest. I pet her head her white soft hair running down her back. "It's ok I'm here", I attempt to comfort her. Her tears soaked into my shirt. I wrap my other arm around her back. Neji stood beside me almost in shock. He doesn't say a thing. "Now I want you to tell me what happened", I say calmly stroking her hair.

"M-me and Sus-uke g-got in a ffight", she sobbed harder. "How about you stay with us for awhile", I gesture. A sudden wave of pain shrivelled my stomach as she looked up. Her soft clear face, her cheeks pink and puffy while her lips lush and pink. Her crystal clear blue eyes stared up at me, tiny tears enlaced in her dark black eyelashes. The sides of her lips slightly curl into a smile, ever so slightly. At least I stopped her from crying now we just need to take her mind off of Susuke. "hi Neji", she whispers in the cutest way. He looks down on her with his silverly purple eyes, his lips in a slight smile,"hi kid", he answers back almost jokingly. It's almost funny how she found us all the way out here deep in the forest.

"Your sure cute when your happy", I smirk as she blushes looking up at me. The two tiny red bows tied to a stand of hair on each side of her head. She looks at me all innocently, I can't help but bring my face close to hers. Her face turns a bright red, her hands still tightly grabbing my shirt. I plant a kiss on her nose and she childishly smiles back. As I look past her I see Neji with a glum smirk on his face. I was ready to knock the grin off his face, but that would be almost impossible to even land a punch on him. In seconds I see Suzka turning around and lightly punching him on the shoulder. My jaw drops to the floor, when I tired that he blocked punching me in the gut. He glares at her lifting an eyebrow, and she giggles. "You will start listen to me!", her voice squeaks as she puts her hands on her hips. "Is that an order?", he plays a long a smile starting on his face. "Glad we're on the same page", she smirks up at him like a child would. He rolls his eyes chuckling. Holy Geez she already got him wrapped around her finger. But I guess who wouldn't fall for her? She's Cute, smart strong and free minded, straight forward and easy going except when she is mad.

"You guys want to get some ramen?", she asks. Of course I would but Neji hates Ramen.

"Let's go for a hike instead", Neji demands.

"Only I make the commands!", she reminds him.

"But I think a hike would be better anyways, so let's go!", she points ahead. Obviously she was trying to make Neji take commands from her. Oh my gosh I forgot all about training. "I would love to come but I just remembered something I had to do! You two have fun!" I dash off quickly. Yes of course I don't want to leave her there with Neji, but i would look make Suzka suspicious if I said she should go home.

Neji P.O.V

"Come on! Just because Gaara isn't coming doesn't mean we can't go!", she acts like rock lee in a way. She grabs my sleeve pulling me along. My eyes trail down her face, past her shimmering blue eyes to her sweet lush lips. I swear I wanted to kiss them but that would be just awkward. "Are you alright?", she asks turning her head to the side. "Yes why would you ask?,"I growl. She wraps her hair around her index finger saying,"You cheeks turned red." My eyes widen at her comment, was I really blushing right now!? Over a child!? Her hand still holding my sleeve, she reaches towards my forehead with the opposite hand. Placing the back of her hand on my head I blush even harder taking a step back. Holding her hand to my forehead she stares at my headband and I stare down at the one handing loosely around her neck. It's symbol scratched out almost impossible to read. "What does your symbol mean?", she asks, her fingertips running along the indents of the symbol. I couldn't tell her even as her beautiful eyes stared back concerned. I put my index finger to my mouth saying,"it's a secret." She pulls her hand away looking at me surprised, then smiling and saying,"I like secrets." Her eyes told me there was a secret. I just couldn't figure out what it was. She stops crouching down to pick a daisy from the neon grass. Standing up she blushes slightly asking,"Do you like daisies?" I hesitate to say anything, but it would hurt her if I don't say anything.
