Karin and Hina were almost to the bus stop when it started raining. It started out slow but quickly began pouring.
"...Run!" Hina suddenly yelled as she grabbed Karin's hand and started running towards the bus stop. Once they reached the bus stop both girls sat on the bench. They started laughing and attempted to fix their hair that was stuck to their faces.
"Well, we made it to the bus stop," Karin said as their laughter subsided. They waited in a comfortable silence for the bus to appear. After about 5 minutes of waiting, the bus pulled up and Hina walked up the steps first with Karin trailing behind her.
"Here ya go sir," Hina said as she handed the bus driver enough money to pay for both her and Karin. The girls made their way to two open seats in the back of the bus. They sat down and Hina instantly grabbed her phone from her bag to text her mom. The bus began moving and Karin was looking out the window until Hina caught her attention.
"Hey Karin," Hina paused to wait for Karin to look at her.
"Do you have any plans for summer?" Karin looked out the window while humming slightly.
"I don't think so," Karin finally replied after a minute of thinking.
"Do you think we can hang out more this summer?" Hina looked away from Karin and focused on the bus seat's design.
"Of course! Today was really fun," Karin said excitedly. Hina looked up with a bright smile before remembering something.
"We should invite Reina to hang out with us too. She seemed really cool," Hina added thoughtfully. Karin nodded before focusing her attention back to the window.
After about 10 minutes they reached Hina's stop. She stood up and quickly turned around to Karin.
"Don't forget that we have to hang out this summer" She said strictly. Karin nodded while laughing silently at Hina's antics.
"Oh! Before I get off here's my phone number" Hina said as she grabbed a piece of paper from her bag and quickly scribbled out her phone number. She handed it to Karin before making her way to the front of the bus. She waved to Karin before stepping off. Karin grabbed her phone out of her bag and added Hina into her contacts. She still had about 15 minutes until she reached her stop so she put her earbuds in and looked out the window once again.
Sorry for the short chapter! Also, I won't be able to upload for a little while. I'm going on a road trip with my parents :3 Hope you're enjoying the story so far and thank you~
